Today is the day and Sri Rama is hesitated to say, then bharat with joined palm lovingly said, My lord you have granted me all me desire.

Admonish me, o gracious lord of kosala, and tell me some means by practicing which for the remaining period of your exile your servant may be enabled to behold the feet of his merciful master again.

The lord confronted his mind found no consolation or rest, his regard for bharat, on the one, and the presence of elders on other, over whelmed lord with a mixed feeling of embarrassment and affection.

The lord at last took compassion on him and gave him his wooden sandals which bharat reverently placed on his head.

The sandals of all merciful Lord were like two watchmen entrusted with, the duty of guarding the people’s life.

He made obeisance and begged leave to depart and Sri Rama clasped him to his bosom.

Bharat then embraced Laxman, while shatrughan bowed to him and both placed the dust of Sita’s feet on their head and receiving her loving benediction, which was the root of all fair blessings, they departed.

Glory of Bharat Koop is infinite as it is composite store-well of pious water from varying sacred sources; sage attri guides the two brothers unto glory of chitra koot.

Bharat visited all the sacred spots in five days, the last day was in discussing the shining glory of lord sri Hari Vishnu and mahadev till it was dusk.

Pray vouchsafed to me, good sir, and some tangible support by serving which I may be enabled to reach the end of the term of your exile.

I have one great longing at heart, but due to fear and diffidence I am unable to mention it, lord immediately react, what is my dear brother, then Bharat replied with love-with your permission I would like to go and see chitra-koot with its sacred spots.

Lord said certainly do-do as the sage Attri bids you do and wonder without fear throughout the woods.

Lord Rama praise the truth of bharat and said bharat you are an upholder of righteousness, well versed in secular as well as in the Vedas and adept in love.

Pure in thought, words and deed you are, you are your only compeer.

You are conversant with the traditions of the solar race, and know how truthful and how fond of fame our father was, circumstances we should have for the feelings of our elders and you are knower of everyone’s duty as well as of what is best for you and me and of what we should do, I have entire confidence in you.

Every thing will be protected by guru’s glory and all will be well in the end. Therefore, obey their command yourself and help me to do the same and be savior of the solar race.

Considering this and even though enduring great hardship make your subject and your own people happy.

My woe has been shared by all but your lot would be hard for whole term of my exile, I know you are tendered hearted, yet am speaking repugnant words to you in hard times good brothers alone stand one in good stead.

Bharat open his heart in the assembly of nobles that my master is as my father, I just pray to forgive me knowing the providence is against me, indeed the duty of servant is hard and duty to master is incompatible with selfishness-hatred in blind and love is not discreet.

O lord, you are my father mother, friend ad preceptor and object of adoration, my greatest benefactor and my inner controller.

O lord you are savior of supplant, all powerful, the benefactor of those take refuge in, quick to appreciate merits and drive away sin. You are only master like you.

O lord your ways are noble disposition and your greatness are known through out the world and have been glorified by the Vedas and sacred books.

By virtue of his own ability, noble disposition and goodness yourself has ever been indulgent to me, therefore, be pleased, my lord to give your command for you have accomplished all my objects.

The people of Ayodhya were all delighted to hear of janak arrival, Sri Rama felt very uncomfortable.

Plunged into ocean of grief the men women lamented in great anguish-what a cruel fate done.

Sage vashistha said to vedeha, be consoled, o king. The sage vashistha admonished king vedeha in many ways and all people bathed in river with name of lord Rama.

When king beheld Sita in the robes of a hermits he was overwhelmed with love and was highly gratified-daughter you have brought sanctify to both the houses. When king heard of Bharat conduct, which was rare as a combination of gold with fragrance or nectar extracted from moon-the king closed his tearful eyes.

Rama again requested guru to make depart every one respectively. Guru said O Rama you are the life of life, soul of soul and joy of joy, there is nothing apart from you for anyone in this camp.

Guru understands the feelings of Bharat and requested Rama to listen him for a while to dispel the dark of his heart.

Though Bharat was unable to speak a word still he made it to open his heart in the assembly of nobles.

Please, I have nothing to submit, I know the deposition of my master, who is never angry even with the offender-to me he has been particularly kind and affectionate is known fact.

From my infancy I never left his company and at no time did he damp my spirits, I have realized the benevolent ways of my lord, who would have me win a game even though I had lost it.

But fate could not bear to see me treated with fondness, if I say that my mother wicked and in virtues will be sickness of my mind, my ill luck is unfathomable like an ocean.

In vain did I torment my mother by taunting her without estimating the consequences of my sins.

I know that Sita and Rama are masters for this I presume that all will be well in the end.

The lord fasted and none has taken anything on that day, next morning lord reverently and devoutly did all that the sage bade the delighter of Raghu do.

Having performed his father’s obsequies as prescribed in he Vedas the lord, who was a Sun it were to be the dark become pure again.

And Bharat arrived in the hermitage of Lord Rama, perception of his joy through eternal subtle was unique, saw the lovely hermitage of his lord which was fair abode of all blessings, bharat saw Laxman standing before the lord and affectionately answering the quires of lord.

Bharat bow his head towards the lotus feet of Lord Rama, Laxman saw bharat making obeisance to lord Rama, with chocked voice Laxman ask lord that my master, bharat ji is making obeisance to you.

Overwhelmed with emotion Sri Rama started up as soon as he heard this, his robe flying in one direction, and his quiver and bow and arrows in another.
All compassionate lord forcibly lifted bharat and clasped him to his bosom, everyone witnessed the meeting of bharat and Sri Rama lost all self coconscious and immersed in the stream of tears from wet eyes.

Hut of Lord Rama is more graceful than palace of any kingdom, indeed it is a pious ashram with shrubs of holy Basil all around, noble trees of pakar-the citron leaved Indian flag tree, jumbo the black plum. Mango and tamaal and in the midst of which stands out a beautiful and stately banyan which is so charming to behold with its dark and dense foliage, red fruits and unbroken shed, which is present through out the year as if god has brought together all that was exquisite beautiful and given shape of dark and rosy mass.

Hut of lives meant for abode of Lord was beauty beyond description; this hut was very source of bliss even for fellow beings around. In front of this charming hut sri Sita ji planted basil shrubs and in the shade of banyan tree there is a lovely alter raised by sita with her own hands.

Seated whereon the all-wise Sita and Rama listen everyday, in the midst of a crowd of hermits, to all kinds of stories and legends from the agamas, nigam, purana and Vedas.

Bharat would never be intoxicated with sovereign power even if he attained to the position of Brahma.

Listen, O Bharat, formidable is fate-the lord of sages sorrowfully explained that loss and gain, life and death, glory and infamy all lies in the hands of providence.

Arguing thus whom should we blame?

With whom should we angry?

Mind it that king Dasrath was an enlighten spirit, is not worth grieving for.

Pitiable is that Brahman who is ignorance of Vedas

Pitiable is the king who has no knowledge of politics and never keeps care of his people

Pitiable is householder that runs away from duties

Pitiable is recluse who is attached to the world and lacks discretion and dispassion

Pitiable is anchorite who has given up penance and developed a liking for luxury

Pitiable is that who is angry without cause

Pitiable is that who harm others cherish his own life and exceedingly selfish.

King was blessed in every way, is of no use mourning for him, therefore you needs must reddm the king’s world, cherish your subject and cease to grief.

At the death of king Dasrath, sage vashist narrated a number of legends befitting the occasion and dispersed the gloom that hung’s over them all by the light of his wisdom.

Bharat was recalled by the guru for cremation of the king, bharat rushed to Ayodhya and reached in no time but suffer beyond measure to know the episode all about.

He curse himself being the son of his mother Kaikeyi, rushed to mother kaushalya and repeatedly ask her to show me my father any how, please take me to the rama, where is my loving Laxman.

Kaushalya tries all to rescue Bharat from the jaws of agonies, vamdev and guru advice bharat according to the time to perform all rites of king as per Vedic lights.

He had washed king’s body washed and caused a most splendid bier to be prepare for him, load of sandals were used for final ceremony of the body, respective rites were performed with more than sufficient charity.

Bharat performed all for the benefit of his father.

In Ayodhya, the moment the heard of the Sumatra’s arrival, it goes restless-in deep agonies all the queens questioned him, but no reply.

On arriving at king, he narrates the story of journey and refusal of Sri rama’s to be back before the period of exile, and sita and Laxman were to the way same.

All this put king in deep agony that cannot be described in words, indeed he cried for Rama.

King requested to take me to the place of Lord Rama, where sita is and what about my loving son Laxman, I wanted to go there.

King was losing his faith in self this makes him humble beyond limit and was on totally on repent mode and missing Rama the most at the ether base of heart.

The life breath of the king now struck to the throat, he felt uneasy like a serpent robbed of its gem.

At the time of his death, king remember the curse of a Brahmin whose son was mistakenly killed by king and he narrates that story in full to his beloved queen kaushalya, thus crying Rama , Rama and Rama, yet again and cast of his body in agony of separation from Rama.

Laxman show the spot, Sri Rama was delighted to see that, when god learnt that the site had captivated Sri Rama’s mind, they proceed to beatify it to the taste of truth.

Lord reached at the ashram of sage Balmiki, Balmiki- the legend of austerity and penance, Rama fell prostrate before the sage and the holy Brahman blessed him in return.

The sight of Sri Rama’s beauty gladdened his eyes and with due honor he look the lord into hermitage, finding the gust as dear as him as his life. Great was the joy of sage’s heart as he beholds with his eyes Sri Rama, who bliss personified.

Lord spoke to sage with all delightful words, that you directly perceive the past present and the future in the garb of time; lord relates to him the whole story as to how he had exiled into woods. Compliance with my father’s commands, gratification of my stepmother, the installation of brother like bharat to the throne and my seeing you-all this, my lord, is result of my meritorious acts.

In beholding your feet, O king of sages, all my good deeds have been rewarded, now I wants to go wherever you commands me to go and where no anchorite to hermits and ascetics are consumed without fire. While satisfaction of Brahmans is the root of happiness and their wrath consumes millions of generation; bearing this in mind please guide me.

O Lord Rama quite so right you are, why should you not speak thus, ever busy in maintain the law laid down by the Vedas.

While you are custodian of Vedic law, the lord of universe, sita is your maya, divine energy, who crates, sustain and dissolves the universe on your wish and will, heaving assumed of form of a king for the sake of the gods are out to crush the host of wicked.

O Rama, you being beyond the range of speech and conception,
O Rama, unknown and unutterable and infinite
O Rama, beyond the reach of even Vedas which ever speaks of it as not that, not that.
O Rama, conformer of the heart of devotees
O Rama, delighter of Raghu’s
O Rama, gracious lord of this universe

You ask me where I take up my residence, but I ask you with difference tell me first the place where you are not.

Sage spoke him again in words sweet within himself, listen Rama I tell you now the places where you abide

You should dwell in the heart of him whose swan like tongue picks up pearls in the shape of your virtues in the holy lake of your name.

Abide in the mind of those whose nose devoutly inhales every day the fragrance of the sacred and lovely offerings

Abide in those who have no lust, anger, arrogance, pride or infatuation are free from greed, excitement attraction aversion and free from tricky modes to cheat others, hypocrisy and deceit.

Abide in those who rejoice t see welfare of others and grieved to see other’s distress and to whom you are dear as their own life.

Lastly who wants nothing at any moment and bear natural affinity to you-incessantly dwell in the mind; for that is your own home?

O Rama please makes your abode in Chitra-Koot hill there you will have comfort of all kinds, it has a holy river glorified in the puranas, it is side stream of sri Ganga ji.

Then sage elaborates the glory of chitra koot, which is infinite in self.

Women children and aged, however, wrung their hands and lamented and in this way the people smitten with love wherever Sri Rama went.

Life in the remote regions is blessed now by the grace of Lord Rama, lotus feet of lord generating the dust which giver of immortality to spirit.

In every village there was similar rejoicing at the sight of sri Rama, who was a moon to the lily-like solar race and few quotes differently that king Dasrath is so benevolent who has given us opportunity to attain glory of glimpse that giver of bliss.

Thus bringing joy to the people on the road side, Sri Rama, who was a veritable Sun to the lotus like solace, proceeded with Sita and Laxman looking at the forest.

Hearing the arrival of lord, people inhabiting the river banks ran to see them unmindful of their duties, beholding the beauty of lord they congratulate themselves.

When relates the story of Rama’s obedience to his father command they were sad to hear and lamented.

The Rama then admonished his friend Nishad Raj [Guha] in many ways and bowing to sri Rama’s commands he left for his home.

The Lord then called on Bharadvaja and the sage clasped him to his bosom as he fell prostrate before him. Respecting the saints and saintly wisdom was basic feature of Lord Rama.

The joy sage felt within his heart cannot be described in words; it looked as if he had found the bliss of oneness with Brahma incarnate.

The chief of sages, Muni Bhardwaj, invoked his blessing on Lord; he felt great joy in his heart to perceive that god had as it were set before him in visible form the reward of all his virtues.

Muni addressed him in gentle tones that
Today my penance, pilgrimage and renunciation have been awarded
Today my prayer, meditation and dispassion have borne fruit
Today all my pious practices have been rewarded by your gracious visit to my kutir {poor house}.

O Rama, there is no culmination of joy other than this and beholding you all my hopes have been realized; now be pleased to grant me this one boon of spontaneous attachment to your lotus feet.

O Rama, until a man gets sincerely devoted to you in thought, word and deed, he cannot dream of happiness in spite of all his devices.

Lord Rama felt abashed to hear the words of sage, much as he was sated with joy b his love and devotion.

Sri Rama made obeisance to them all who visited there to have glimpse of the beauty of absolute in the name of Rama, Sri Rama reposed overnight there, bathed in prayag, gladly bowing his head to sage proceed on his journey of 14.

Lord politely asked the sage which rout we should go, smiling inwardly the sage replied that all roads are easy to you and blessed them with love and love.

Next day lord visited prayag Raj known as the king of holy places; confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna.

Lord who is an ocean of bliss, was filled with delight to see this glorious king and wish his gracious lips he narrates the glories of Prayag to Nishad, sita and Laxman.

Muni Bhardwaj was a great sage, whose abode was at the bank of prayag, lord visited his ashram to shower his grace and oblige him through the holy dust of his feet.

Lord Rama then bathed in Ganga and after worshipping a newly made clay image of Shiva bowed his head-and performed parthive puja.

With joined palm sita ji addressed the celestial River, mother, pray accomplish my desire and I may return with my husband and his younger brother and worship you.

In response to Sita’s prayer following utterance came from the holy stream, listen, O vaidehi-who in the world is not aware of your glory-people become master of heaven, the moment you bless them, o vaidehi I bless you, -with your husband and Devar you shall safely return to Ayodhya and every wish of your heart shall be accomplished and your bright glory shall spread throughout the world.

Then lord invoked the Ganesha and Shiva and bowing his head to the celestial stream, preceded to the woods with his friend Nishad, Laxman and sita.

Rama called for a boat to cross the river but ferryman would not bring it and said that I know your secret, dust of your lotus feet transformed rock to charming lady, if my boat itself converted as that of hermits lady I shall be robed of the very means of my subsistence.

If you want you cross the river, command me to lave your lotus feet.

I will let you aboard the boat only I have bathed your lotus feet; I seek to toll from you-I swear by you what I tell you is truth alone, let Laxman shot me but until I have washed your lotus feet, I will not.

Lord allowed him to do so, having laved the lord’s feet and drunk of the water in which they had been immersed along with the other members of his family, he thereby transformed the souls of the deceased forbear across the ocean of metempsychosis and then gladly took the lord across the Ganga.

The lord as well as Laxman and sita did their utmost but the ferryman would accept nothing, all merciful Lord dismissed him bestowing on him the boon of unalloyed devotion.

Sumatra gave message of king to Sri Rama to be back at home if you have any reservation please turns back sita, there is very comfort both in her parent’s home as well as with parents of her Lord, therefore, sita can live at ease wherever she pleases at a particular time this adversity ends.

But Rama politely turns him back to serve the King, his father in his absence, Rama was devoted son of his father, respect for his father in his heart was like anything.

The sports of Maya are really indifferent to life that one commits the offence and another reaps the fruits-highly mysterious are the ways of providence; no one in this world is competent to know them.

Leaving the children and the aged people in their homes all the citizens accompanied Sri Rama, and the lord made his first halt on the bank of Tamsa, when the lord saw his people overwhelmed with love, his tender heart was much afflicted.

Lord Rama, who is all compassion, is readily touched by others pain, addressing them in affectionate tones-he comforted all in ways more than one.

Over powered by grief and toil the people fell asleep and lord address the minister, please drive the chariot in such a way to mix up the tracks to left them all there, Rama along with sita and Laxman started journey of exile.

The glory of Lord, who is fountain of pure existence, knowledge and bliss, performed actions similar to those of a human being, which constitute a bridge to cross the ocean of mundane existence.

Guru Vashist intervenes but queen Kaikeyi was more than adamant to listen anything apart from her vow.

While advancing for exile Rama prays with joined palm that that he alone is friendly to me in every way, though whose good offices the king derives solace.

Invoking lord Ganpati, goddess Gauri and the lord of kailash and received blessings of his guru Rama proceed further.

King approached guru with proposal to bless Rama with legal powers and let the happy even take place in my life time.

Guru said, O king-let there be no delay and make every preparation quickly-that day itself is auspicious and full of blessings, when Rama is proclaimed regent.

Men and women rejoiced in their heart to hear of Sri Rama’s installation on the throne, all began to make preparations.

Bharat was not there in Ayodhya, he was with shatrughan in state of paternal family of his mother.

Kaikeyi had a dull-witted servant manthara by name, manthara misguided and hypnotize Kaikeyi with her look good talk that mislead queen that oppose the decision taken by king and ask Dasrath to install her son on the throne rather than Rama and send Rama in exile for 14 years against her due boons with King.

King tries to convince queen but fail to do so and stricken with grief the king repeated the world Rama again and again and felt miserable like a bird that has been shorn of its wings.
