The world has no bride worthy of the bridegroom, 

They said to one another,

Vishnu, Brahma and hosts of the other gods joined the bridegroom's procession, 

And rode on their respective vehicle,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Sri Ekadasi today, a day to update truth of self in context with sky of eternity,

Indeed a truth to enjoin Sri Vishnu Pad Puja for the cause eternal which serve in both the worlds,

Sri Ekadasi is a meritorious day for man to make it at threshold of that region to ensure safe passage,

Indeed a chapter which may truly help man on his five define issues of life with sole cause of being man at that shore,

Ghastly attire

 Jai Sri Ram,

Thus clad in a ghastly attire,

He was nonetheless an embodiment of blessings, 

And mercy to the core,

A trident and  a Damaru, a small drum in his hands,

May Lord bless all,

River Ganga

 Jai Sri Ram,

He bore the crescent on his charming brow,

And river Ganga on the crown of his head,

And had three eyes and a serpent for the sacred thread,

His throat was black with the poison swallowed by him at the beginning of creation and had a wreath of human skull around his neck,

Smeared his person with ashes

 Jai Sri Ram,

The attendants of Shambhu began to adorn their lord, 

His matted locks were formed into a crown and decked with a crest of serpents,

He had serpents for his earrings and bracelets, 

Smeared his person with ashes and wrapped a lion's skin round his loins,
