Devi parvati Uma Kalyani often turned back to have look at her mother,

Her girl companions then took her to Lord Shiva,

Having gratified all beggars, Lord Shiva proceeded to his Home with his newly wed consort Uma,

All the divinities rained down flowers and kettledrums produced a charming sound in the heavens,

Sri Guru Purnima

Jai Sri Ram,
It is very auspicious day today that Sri Guru Purnima-the most suited day to worship lotus feet of Sat Guru that to purify inner self,

I greet the pollen like dust of the lotus feet of Lord Rama, refulgent, fragrant and flavored with love, lovely life giving herb which allays the host of all attendant ills of mundane existence,

 I greet the lotus feet of Lord Rama, who is ocean of mercy and no other than Sri Hari Vishnu in the form of human, whose words are sunbeams as it were for dispersing the mass of darkness in the form of gross ignorance,

I bow to the lotus feet of Lord Rama on the auspicious occasion of Sri Guru Purnima, who is superior to and lies beyond all causes, Whose Maya holds away the entire universe including gods from Brahma downwards,

Once more

Jai sri Ram,
Sri Maina met Uma kalyani again and again and fell down clasping the girl's feet;

Her supreme love was beyond all words,

Biding adieu to all the ladies Bhavani ran and clung to her mother's breast once more,

Taking leave of her mother once more, Devi Uma kalyani that Sri Parvati departed, every one uttered appropriate blessings to her,

Maina is so sad on the moment and her eyes are flooded with immeasurable tears,

She Said that why has god created woman in this world,

One who is dependent on others can never dream of happiness,

The Mother was overwhelmed with emotion but knowing as she did that it was not importunate moment for betraying one's weakness, she recovered herself,

Lord Shiva conforted his mother-in-law in many ways more than one,

She returned home bowing her head at his feet,

The Mother then sent for Uma and taking her into her lap gave her the following excellent advice,

Ever adore the feet of Lord shiva this sum up the duty of a wife, Her husband is her deity-there is no other god for her-as she spoke these words-her eyes filled with tears and she pressed the girl to her bosom,

It is Sri Maina that submit her full heart overflowing with love that she clasped lotus feet of Lord Shiva,

She Said in most polite words that O Lord-Uma is my dearest daughter,

She is as dear to me as my life,

please take her as your maid servant of your house and forgive all his faults and be please to grant this boon to me,

Himachal gave presents of various kinds as dowry that beyond description  and said in polite words with joined palm that i have nothing to give you,
