श्री हनुमान चालीसा, Jai Sri Ram,
Sri Hanuman ji Said to Ravana, that abandon pride which is a source of considerable pain and adore sri Rama who is an ocean of compassion

Although sri Hanuman gave him exceedingly salutary advice, full of devotion, discretion  dispassion and wisdom yet Ravana never gave any respect to that and laughed,

Ravana Said, we have found a very wise Guru in this monkey, O monkey death hangs over you,

Sri Hanuman said just contrary is going to happen , i am clearly perceiving that you are under impression of delusive illusion,

Gracious Lord , most beautiful form that delight of all eyes,

Gracious Lord in his arms he bore his characterised emblems, adorned with jewels and garland of sylvan flower,

Gracious Lord endowed with large eyes, the slayer of the demons and tangible support of meek,

Gracious Lord is an ocean of mercy, bliss personified and repository of virtues

Gracious lord is lord of Sri Sri Laxmi ji and the lover of devotees and vedas proclaimed that body of

Gracious lord contains multitudes of universes brought forth by Maya,

Gracious Lord is Giver of final beatitude

Sri Hanuman is trying to guide Ravana in true spirit that O Ravana-install the image of Sri Rama's lotus feet in heart and enjoy the uninterrupted sovereignty of Lanka,

The glory of your grandfather pulastya shines like Moon without spot, be not speak to that Moon,

Speech without name of lord Rama is charmless and ponder and realize, casting aside arrogance and infatuation,

A fair and beautiful lady without clothes does not command her self even though adorned with all kind of jewels,  the fortune and lordship of a man who is hostile to sri Rama eventually leaves even if they stay a while,

Sri Hanuman ji trying to elaborate the truth of Lord Rama to facilitate Ravana, he said i implore you with joined palms, Give up your haughtiness and heed my advice,

Think of your lineage and view things in perspective with, in any case disillusion yourself and adore him who dispels the fear of his devotees,

Never antagonize him who is a source of terror to even death, that devours all created beings, both animate and inanimate, gods as well as demons, and return Sri sita ji at my request,

Lord Sri Rama, the slayer of Khar, is a protector of suppliant and an ocean of compassion forgetting your offences, will give you shelter if you turn him for protection,

Sri Hanuman said to Ravana that by an iota of whose might you were able to conquer the entire creation and whose beloved spouse have been stolen away by you, know me to be his Servant,

I am aware of your glory that you had an encounter with Sahastrabahu and won distinction in your contest with Vali,

Ravana heard the words of Sri Hanuman but take it easy and laughed them away,

Sri Hanuman clear his version unto demons he killed that i ate the fruits because i felt hungry and broke boughs being a monkey but those provoke me i respond them suitable-in due course your son put me in bonds but for me it was for a cause to deliver the message of my Master,

Sri Hanuman Said to Ravana, Listen Ravana, recall him by whose might Maya brings forth numberless universes

By whose might trinity carry on their respective functions of creation, preservation and destruction,

by whose might the thousand headed serpent Sesa supports on his head the entire globe with mighty mountains and thick forests

and who assumes various forms in order to protect the gods and teach a lesson to wretches like you, who broke the unbending bow of shiva crushed with it the pride of the host of princes, who dispatched Khara, Dushna, trishira, all in unequal strength-know me to be his envoy,

Sri Hanuman was there among demons totally fearless as Garuda would be in the midst of of number of serpents,

When ravan saw Sri Hanuman he laughed and railed at him but as recalled the death of his son felt sad and asked,

Who are you, and by whose might have you wrought the destruction of the grove, are you unaware of My Name and might,

I see you an exceptionally bold wretch-for what offence did you kill demons, are you not afraid of losing your life,
