O Mother divine

Jai sri Ram
Obeisance to you, O Mother divine-the giver of life and truth,

Reverence to Mother, the mother of universe-i seek to propitiate the pair of her lotus feet, so that by her grace i may be blessed with a refined intellect,

I greet the dust of the lotus feet of my Mother that soft and agreeable, salve, which is ambrosia as it were for the eyes and remedies the defects of vision,

I bow to you, Mother-bow my head again and again in honor of your glory and truth,

lord Rama smiled and Said

Thereupon the lord Rama smiled and Said,

Brother-you are dear to me as Bharata,

Now with all your heart make some organized effort whereby we may get tidings of Sita,

While a talk was thus going on between them, multitudes of monkeys arrived, legions of monkeys of various colors were visible in all quarters,

A man who is not pierced by the shaft of woman's glance,

Remain wakeful even in the dark night of anger-who is not swayed by passion,

And who is never caught in the meshes of greed, is as good as yourself,

O Lord, it is virtue which cannot be attained by personal endeavor, it is only your grace that here and one there can acquire it,

the most libidinous of animal,

Bowing his head at  Sri Rama's feet he explained with joined palms,

My lord, i am not at all to blame for what i have done,

Exceedingly powerful is your Maya that delusive potency which withdraws itself only when you,

O Rama, show your grace to a jiva, gods, men and sages, my master, are all slaves of their senses; while i am a vole brute and a monkey, the most libidinous of animal,

Laxman was gratified

Jai sri Ram
Laxman was gratified to hear his humble speech and reassured him in many ways,

Sri Hanuman ji told him that had happened in the meantime,

How batches of spies had been dispatched in various directions,

Accompanied by Angada and other monkeys and placing Sri Laxman at the head, king Sugreeva went with joy and arrived in sri Rama's Presence,

nothing so intoxicating as the pleasure of sense

Sri Hanuman ji accordingly went with queen Tara and bowing at Laxman's feet recounted the Lord's Glory,

With Much supplication he escorted the prince to palace and after laving his feet seated him on a couch,

Then Sugreeva bowed his head-while Laxman took him by the arms and hugged him,

There is nothing so intoxicating as the pleasure of sense which in an infatuate the soul even of a sage,

suppliant prayer appease

He bowed his head at Laxman's feet and made humble petition to him

Whereupon Laxman extended to him his protecting arms,

When report of Laxman wrath reached the ears of monkeys lord Sugreeva,

He was terrible distracted with fear and said, Listen Hanuman-take Tara with you and with suppliant prayer appease the prince,

proceeded on their journey

They all bowed their head at his feet and proceeded on their journey,

That Very Moment Laxmana entered the city,

Seeing him angry monkeys ran away helter skelter,

Laxman then strung his bow and Said-i will burn the city to ashes by making use of agni Baan, thereupon came bali's son seeing the whole city in dismay,

Hare Rama

Jai sri Ram
Sensuality has robbed me of my senses,

Now O son of wind god, troops of monkeys are scattered here and there,

Send batches of messengers to them and have it proclaimed that anyone who fail to appear before me within a fortnight shall meet his death at my hands,

Thereupon Hanuman sent for envoys and receiving them most politically charged with their duty  making use of threats, blandishments and persuasion,
