Austerity is conductive to joy

Devi Parvati Said to her Mother, Mother, I relate to you a vision which i saw, A handsome and fair complexioned noble Brahman gave me the following exhortation,

Recognizing the truth of Narada's words go and practice austerity, O Mountain Maid, the idea had commended itself to your father and mother as well,

Austerity is conductive to Joy and puts an end to sorrow and evils,

It is virtue through which creator creates this universe and sustain it all well,

inviting tears profusely with emotions

Jai sri Ram,
Hearing the truthful words of her husband maina delighted at heart, she one rose and went where the Parvati was,

At the Sight of her Daughter tears rushed to her eyes and she affectionately took her child in her lap,

There was no words but tears in smile to communicate the heart and feeling of a mother for daughter,

Again and again she hugged her yet her heart was in need of more and more, chocked voice was inviting tears profusely with emotions, The mother of this universe then politely asked her mother in soft tendered words which brought all round delight to Maina,

King Himachal said to his wife Maina that put away all anxiety and fix your thoughts on lord alone who has created Parvati will bring her happiness,

Now if you cherish any love for your child then go and admonish her that she should practice austerity which may bring about her union with Lord Shiva,

The word of Narada is meaningful and full of reason,

Lord Shiva who bears a bull for his emblem is handsome and a mine of all virtues, realizing truth please do not let any misgivings enter heart, Lord Shiva is irreproachable in every way,

moon emit flames of fire

Jai Sri Ram,
Maina, the consort of King Himachal said that O my lord Uma is my loving daughter, i love her more than my life,

If we fail to secure a worthy match will not be good at all,

And there be no cause for repentance, having spoken these words she prostrate with her head in the feet of her lord,

Himachal replied with mild tone that sooner shall the moon emit flames of fire than the prophecy of Narada should prove untrue,

Having spoken thus Sage Narada returned to the abode of Brahma,

Consort of King Himachal said to her husband that i could not follow the words of the sage,

if the match, his house and pedigree are without parallel and worthy of our daughter, the marriage may be conducted,

If not, the girl had better remain unmarried may be concluded

Sage Ganesha said that even though there may be many a suitor in the world but there is no match for her Except Lord Shiva,

He is bestower of boons, the dispeller of agonies of the suppliant and an ocean of benevolence,

Indeed Lord is delight of devotees, without propitiating Lord Shiva the object of one's desie cannot be attained through millions of practices and Japa,

So saying and with his thoughts fixed on Lord Sri Hari vishnu, Narada gave his blessings to Uma Kalyani Parvati and said Shed all fear, O king Himachal, ALL WILL NOW TURN OUT WELL
