They discuss nature of Brahma-the supreme eternal one,

The precepts of religion and the classification of fundamental entities,

Expatriate on devotion to the Lord coupled with spiritual enlightenment and dispassion,

In this way they bathe for the whole month of Magha and then return each to their hermitage,

Exceedingly charming and attractive even to great hermits,

The haunt of sages and seers who to bathe at the holiest of holy places,

Ganga, Yumana and Saraswati,

In the month of Magha, When Sun enters in the sign of Capricorn,

Everyone visits Prayaga Raj, the king of holy places,

Troops of gods demons, demigods and men, all devotedly bathe in the triple stream of Ganga, Yumana and Saraswati,

They worship the lotus feet of Madhav, the lord of Prayaga, and touch of the immortal Banyan tree sends thrill into their limbs,

He is extremely devoted to the feet of Sri Rama,

They are the two eyes, most delightful to utter, hear and remember,

They are naturally allied even as Brahma and Jiva,

The name and the object named through similar in significance, are allied as master and servant, i again and again bow my head in reverence with,

Saawan and Bhado

The oldest poet Valmiki is acquainted concession of Name, inasmuch as he attained purity by repeating it in the reverse order,

Hearing the verdict of Lord Shiva that the name is as good as a thousand names of god, goddess Bhavani dined with her consort after uttering it,

 Devotion to the lord is, as were the rainy season and npble devotees, says Tulsidasa, represent the paddy crop,

While the two charming syllabus of the name stand for two months of Saawan and Bhado,

Which is composed of seed letters,

representing the fire god, sun god and the moon god,

It is the same Brahma-the creative aspect of god, Vishnu-his preservative aspect, Shiva-disintegrating aspect, and vital breath of Vedas, it is unqualified, peerless, and a mine of virtue, it is a great spell  which lord Maheshwaraya mutters and which, when imparted by him in Kashi leads to Emancipation, its glory is known to Lord Ganesha, who is worshiped before all others as a concession to the Name,

I revered the feet of Sri Sita and Rama, who though stated to be different are yet identical lust like a word and its meaning, like water and the waves on its surface, and to whom the afflicted are most Dear,

Daughter of Janaka and mother of Universe Sri Sita ji, the most beloved consort of Sri Rama and the fountain of Mercy,

I seek to propitiate the pair of her Lotus Feet, so that by her grace i may be blessed with a refined intellect,
