Jai Sri Ram,
Today-it is a day to Revere the lotus feet of a Great Saint Poet that sri Ram Bhakt Tulsidas, 

Today it is his death anniversary-he departed heavenly on this day to meet his master sri Rama,  

Sri Rama was is life. Sri Rama was his truth, sri Rama was his soul.

He devoted his life for the cause that to enlighten the path to Sri Rama for a common man for eternal joy and liberation, Obeisance to sage and Saint Poet Sri Tulsi Das-a great devotee of Lord Rama,

Can both these things happen at the same time. O sovereign of the earth,

To laugh a boisterous laugh and to look grave,

To enjoy the reputation of being Generous and yet be stingy,

Is it Possible to remain unscathed while playing the Hero,

It is very auspicious day that to adore the lotus feet of one's Sat Guru-Sri Sri Guru Purnima,

I adore Lord Shiva, my master, who is idol of truth and truth alone,

Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust from the lotus feet of the revered Guru that giver of all the four worldly rewards,

May he in whose lap shines forth the daughter of the mountain king, who carries the celestial stream on his head, on whose brow rests the crescent moon, whose throat holds poison and whose breast is the support of a huge serpent and who is adored by the ashes on his body, may that chief of gods, the Lord of all, destroyer of the universe, the omnipresent Shiva, the moon like Sankara, ever protect me,

Injecting poison  as it were into his wound,

The King was stricken with grief and his limbs began to drop,

It Looked as if wish-yielding tree had been knocked down by a female elephant,

His throat was dry and speech failed his lips,

He left miserable like a fish out of water,
