Saluting the lotus feet of the sage the two brothers, the delight of the eyes of the whole world, departed,

Beholding the exquisite beauty of the two brothers troops of boys followed, their eyes and mind being enamoured of it,

Clad in yellow garments they had a quiver fastened at their back, with cloth wrapped round their waist,

Their hands were adorned with a graceful bow and arrow respectively, both had streaks of red and white sandalwood past painted on their Body, their lovely eyes resembled the red lotus and the moon like face relived one of the threefold agony,

upholder of the moral code

Jai Sri Ram,
Hearing the words of Rama, Sage Vishvamitra replied in affectionate terms,

It is no wonder, Rama, that you should respect good manners,

You are upholder of the moral code, my son-bring joy yo your servants out of love for them,

Go-blissful pair of brothers and having seen the city come back, bliss the eyes of all by showing them your charming countenance,

If i have permission

Jai sri Ram,
Sri Rama understood what was passing in his brother's mind,

Taking leave of his preceptor to speak, he smilingly spoke with much diffidence in most polite terms,

My lord, Laxmana longs to see the city, but out of fear and respect for you he does not make it known to you,

If i have permission, i will take him round the city and quickly bring him back,

After homage and rendering all kind of service, the king took leave of sage and returned to his palace,

Having dined with the seers and rested awhile, Sat down by his brother side, a quarter of the day still remained,

Laxmana felt great longing to go out to see the Capital city,

He however afraid of the lord and stood in awe of the sage; therefore he did not openly declare it and smiled within himself,

Their guileless affection for each other is beyond description, It is So agreeable and soul ravishing,

King Janaka said, Listen to me my Lord-they have natural affinity for each other like the one existing between Brahma and the Jeev,

The king gazed upon the lord over and over again, the hair of his body stood on end and his hear overflowed with joy,

Extolling the sage and bowing his head, king escorted him to his capital, and lodged the sage in a beautiful palace which was comfortable at all times,

Sri Somvati Amavasya

Jai sri Ram,
Today it is a great festival of eternal truth that Sri Somvati Amavasya,

It is a day to recall the pastime of spirit in context with truth and the Maya in the light of Sun and the Moon,

It is Not just an ordinary new Moon but a divine chapter which directly relates to self, In Dwaper age King Yudhister waited so long for this unique occasion to perform oblation but,

Obeisance to Lord Vishnu and Devi Laxmi, the presiding deity of this day that distribute the fruits of immortality,

Jai sri Ram,
These two brothers, Sri Rama and Laxmana, are two embodiment of beauty, virtue and strength,

The whole world knows that they conquered the demons in the battle and protected my sacrifice from farm,

When i behold you lotus feet, O sage, added the king, i cannot tell what a great merit i have earned in the past,

These two brothers, one whom is dark of hue and the other fair, are delight of delight itself,
