I Pay Homage to the king of bards and the chief of monkeys, of pure intelligence, both of whom sport in the holy woods in the shape of glories of Sita and Rama,

I bow to Sita the beloved consort of Sri Rama, who is responsible for creation, sustenance and dissolution, removes afflictions and begets all blessings,

Blessed indeed is your birth, O great sage, He said, to you the lord of Gauri is dear as life,

Those who love not Shiva's lotus feet cannot even dream of pleasing Rama, A guileless love for Shiva's feet is a surest sign of a devotee of Rama, who is so faithful to the lord of Raghu's as Shiva, who renounced a sinless wife like Sati and demonstrated ideal devotion to Rama by his Pledge of unswerving fidelity, Whom does Rama hold so dear as Shiva,

Having begun by recounting the deeds of Shiva I have come to know your secret, you indeed a faithful servant of Sri Rama, free from all impurities, i have come to know your virtuous disposition, O Sage, I cannot say how glad i am at this meeting with you Today,

Obeisance to lord Shiva, Revere the the lotus feet of Lord Shiva, bow my head again and again in the lotus feet of Mother Gauri, on the occasion of Dev Prabhodini,
