Jai Sri Ram,
Sri Maina Said, how strange that the creator, who has made you so lovely. should have given you a crazy fellow,

A fruit which should have adorned the wish-yielding tree is helplessly appearing on the thorny Babula,

 Taking you in my arms i would sooner fall from a mountain top, cast self in flames or drown in sea,

Let my home ruined and let me earn a bad reputation throughout the world; but in no case would i marry you with that maniac as long as there is life in me,

Sri Maina with great affection seated Uma in her lap;

Tears take routs from her eyes all the way like stream of repent,

Both blue lotus of her eyes were in unseen fire that cover with water of her faith in the form of tears,

To think that the creator, who has made you so beautiful, should have been wrong enough to you give such a raving man for a bridegroom,

Maina's fair hand

Jai sri Ram,
A salver of the Gold adorned maina's fair hands and she proceeded to welcome Lord Shiva with great delight,

The women were seize with excessive fear when they saw Shiva in frightful accouterments,

They flied in great panic and entered the house, while Shiva repaired to the lodgings of the bridegroom's party,

Maina was sore distressed at heart and sent for parvati,

The parents smiled; for they knew that the children were talking of Shiva's retinue,

They assured the children in many ways and said-be not afraid, there is no cause for fear,

The party which had gone ahead to receive the bridegroom's procession returned with the procession and assigned beautiful lodgings to all the guests,

Maina, the mother of Gauri kindled auspicious lights for waving round the bridegroom and the women accompanying her sang melodies songs of rejoicing,

Jai Sri Ganesha,
He is with matted hair on his head and not good at look at all,

He is with ghosts and evil spirits, goblins and fairies and demons with a frightful countenance,

He who survives on seeing the bridegroom's procession is a man of luck indeed,

And he alone will witness this even of unique entity, these were the words uttered by children from house to house,

Maniac

The sight was such as could not be described,

We wonder whether it was a bridegroom's procession or the army of death,

The bridegroom is a maniac, riding on a bull, serpents. skulls and shes are his ornaments,

His body is smeared with ashes and adorned with serpents and skulls,

while every child that came ran for its life,

On their reaching home when their parents asked them,

They spoke in fear and their limb still shaking like anything, What shall we say
