सुन्दरकाण्ड,

Jai Sri Ram,

Sundar kand is not just a journey of truth but much more than that to believe,

Indeed it is show case of Maya where daughter of Maye-Danav known in the name of Mandodary tries to up-hold the values of truth to her capacity and beyond that,

Mandodary was not only consort of Ravana but she was his shield of protection for all times of his journey on the sphere of human profile,

Her penance and austerity was much higher than the truth of her self and was siddh enough to conquer the Maya through her mystic skill, yet she was a sadhvi in life style and Sri Hanuman had experience the truth unto it while in palace of Ravana, at one time in search of sita in the palace of Ravana-he taken her as Sri Sita due to similarity she bear with except the jewellery,

Indeed she was more than any care taker to Sita in Lanka, she was more than guardian for sita in lanka, she was keeping a continues watch on the welfare of sita in all respect irrespective of all odds and never allows Ravana alone there in Ashok vatika, her silent sacrifices were beyond words, as she was mandodary.
