सुन्दरकाण्ड,
jai Sri Ram,
I worship the lord of Sri Janaki, who is intelligent beyond
measure, though immutable, being requested by the gods to remove the
afflictions of the world,
I worship loving consort of Sri sita, who took the illusionary
form of man and was as if born in the solar dynasty and who after attaining an
eternal fame, capable of destroying sins, by killing the foremost demons again attain
his real nature, the Brahma,
I bow down to the lord of Sri Sita, the knower of truth and
very cause of ultimate truth, who is the cause of this universe-its creation, sustenance
and destruction, indeed beyond the peripheries of Maya thought it inheres in
him,
I bow down to the supreme essence of Sri Sundar kand, the embodiment
of knowledge that full of bliss, pleasing and without blemish,
