Obeisance to you Mother, My Mother

Jai sri Ram,
Sri Basant Panchami-today, one of the most auspicious day for devotees of the Mother Saraswati, the great Giver, the giver of light to enlighten the chamber of heart and flux of mind,

Obeisance to you, My Mother-my eternal preceptor, who is all wisdom,

I greet the lotus feet of My Mother on this auspicious occasion of Sri Basant Panchami,

I bow to the lotus feet of My Mother, who is ocean of mercy and sunbeam to disperse the mass of darkness in the form of gross ignorance,
