Rama was deeply pained to hear of it, thinking the king died on account of love for him, agitated to himself,
Sita and Oueens broke out into lamentation, the whole assembly was sorely stricken with grief,
At Daybreak Rama reverently devotedly dis all that the sage bade the delighter of Raghus,
Having performed his father's obsequies as prescribed in Vedas, Rama attains the truth of sanctifying self after obeying all oblations, Two days elapsed after purification, Rama affectionately said to his guru, My Lord, all the people are sore and distressed, living on roots bulbs and fruits, when I behold Bharata and Shatrughan and all my mothers, minute passes seems as an age to me, please do what is proper at this time,
