Sri Rama is none other than supreme spirit,

Doubt unto the truth of his existence and truth is wholly unwarranted,

The moment when a man harbour such a doubt in mind, his wisdom dispassion and all other virtues bid adieu to him,

Such words are spoken and heard by those men alone who are possessed by the devil of infatuation, are averse to the feet of Sri Hari Vishnu and know no difference between truth and falsehood,

His body fair in the hue as the jasmine, the Moon and conch shell; arms of ordinate length-a hermits covering, consisting the barks of trees-wrapped round his loins,

His feet resembling a pair of full-blown red lotus and their toe nail shedding a luster which dispelled the darkness of devotee's heart,

Shiva reached mount Kailash

Himvan then accompanied Shiva in order to escort him with great affection,

Men-servants and maid servants, horses and chariot, elephants and cows, raiment, jewel and various other articles and even so card loaded of Food grains and gold utensils were given as dowry, which was more than one could describe,

Himachal gave presents of various kinds as dowry;then, joining his palms, he said I have nothing to give you-you have all yours desires sated,

He could say no more and remained clasping the feet of Lord Shiva,

The Ocean of Mercy Lord Shiva reassured his father-in-law in every possible way,

At the direction of the sages Shiva and Bhavani paid honors to Lord Ganesha,

Let No one be puzzled to hear this; for one should bear in mind that god have existed from time without beginning, The great Sages had the nuptial ceremony performed in all its details as laid down in the Vedas,

Taking sacred Kusa Grass in his hand and holding the bride by her hand, Himachal made her over to shiva knowing her to be his eternal consort-when Lord Shiva took the hand of the bride, all the great gods were glad at heart and principal sages chanted the Vedic verses while gods exclaimed, Victory---victory---victory---all victory to Lord Shiva,

The wedding of Shiva and Bhavani was thus concluded-a spirit rejoicing pervaded the whole universe,

All the gods were enrapture at her beauty, recognizing in her the mother of the universe and spouse of Shiva, the divinities mentally bowed to her,

The perfection of beauty that Bhavani Was could not be adequately praised by any mean, The Superb beauty of the Mother of the universe was beyond words,

Mother Bhavani, the Mine of beauty, walked to the middle of pavilion, where Shiva was-out of shyness she could not gaze on her Lord's lotus feet, although her heart was fixed thereon like a bee,

Having been served with water for rinsing the mouth at the end of dinner, they were given betel-leaves and then they returned to their respective lodgings,

The seven sages called once more and read out to Himachal the Note according to time fixed for wedding, perceiving that hour had arrived, the letter sent for the gods,

Himachal politely sent for all the gods and assigned an appropriate seat to each of them, an alter was prepared in accordance with the Vedic ritual and women chanted charming festal strains,

A divinity beautiful throne with the images of pair of lions for its arms was placed on the altar, bowing his head to the Brahmans and calling to his mind his own master, Shiva took his seat on the throne,

Finding the gods dining, batches of women began to banter and rail at them in pleasant strains,

Charming women railed in sweet strains and poured innuendoes,

The gods fet much amused to hear them and dinned for an unusually long time,

When they heard Narada's explanation, the sadness of all was dispersed,

In a trice news spread from house to house throughout the city, then Mena nad her consort Himavan rejoiced and bowed at Parvati's feet again and again,

All citizens, including men and women and children along wiith youth and old aged ere immensely delighted, festive songs began as be sung in the city, vases of gold of every pattern were displayed by all,

Himachal respectfully summoned all members of the bridegroom's party, including Brahma Vishnu and other gods of all classes, the dinner guest sat in many rows and expert cooks began to serve,

Narada said, Uma assumes the semblance of material form of her OWN WILL,

First She was born in the house of Daksha and there her name was Sati, Her form was charming beyond words, Even in that incarnation she was married to Lord Shiva, and story is known to the world

Sati burnt herself through Yoga in the Yagna of her father to prove her truth on the path of love for her soul-mate-Now reborn in your house-she had undergone terrible penance for the sake of her Lord  
Knowing this-give up all doubts, Uma-your daughter is ever beloved of Lord Shiva,

She creates maintain and dissolves the universe and assume semblance of a  material form of her own,

Whatever is ordained by providence cannot be altered,

Can you alter the decree of providence-therefore take no approach on you unnecessarily,

All ladies assmbled there were distressed when they swa mena sad-recalling affection of her daughter she wailed, wept and exclaimed-what harm have i done to narada that he should runed my happy home,

In good ssoth the sage is passionless and without affection, has no wealth, no dwelling and home, no shame no fear

What does a barren woman know of pains of childbirth,

The Women were seized with excessive fear when they saw Shiva in frightful accouterments,

They fled in great panic, Mena was sore distressed at heart and sent for Parvati-with great affection she seated her in her laps,

Tears rushed to her eyes, to think that the creator, who made you so beautiful, should have been different enough to give you such a raving madman for a bridegroom,

How strange that a fruit which should have adorned the wish-yielding tree in helplessly appeared on the thorny Babula,

The parents smiled; for they know that the children were talking of Shiva's retinue,

They re-assured the children in many ways and said, be not afraid, there is no cause for fear,

The party which had gone ahead to receive the bridegroom's procession returned with the processions and assigned beautiful lodgings to all the guests,

Mena kindled auspicious lights for waving around the bridegroom and the woman accompanying her sang melodies songs of rejoicing, a salver of Gold adorned mena's fair hand and She proceeded to Welcome Lord Shiva with great delight,

Boys on reaching home when their parents questioned them-they spoke as follow-their limbs still shaking with fear, what shall we say,

The sight was such as could not be described, we wonder whether it was a bridegroom's procession or the army of death,

 The Bridegroom is a maniac, riding on a bull; serpents, skulls and ashes are his ornaments, his body is smeared with ashes and adorned with serpents and skulls, has mattered hair on his head and is dreadful to look at,

He is accompanied by ghosts and evil spirits, Goblins and fairies and demons with a frightful countenance, he who survives on seeing the bridegroom's procession is a man of great luck indeed, and will witness the wedding of Uma-these words uttered by the children from house to house,

Himachal erected a most wonderful pavilion which beggared description, host of woods seas rivers and ponds were invited by Himachal, capable of taking any form they liked-they assume handsome figure with their fair consorts,

The splendor of city was so captivating that after a glance at it the creative skill of Brahma himself looked very small, men and women of the city were so lovely and ingenious that they enraptured the hearts even of sages,

The city in which the mother of the universe had bodied herself forth baffled all descriptions, prosperity success, wealth and happiness were always on the increase there and presented a new aspect,

When it was heard that the bridegroom was close at hand-there was commotion in the city, which added to its charm but when boys of the city have look unto the attendants on lord Shiva, phobia runs through them-bridegroom himself was indifferent to the truth of mundane beauty,

The attendants of Shiva

Jai Sri Ram,
The attendants of Shiva began to adorn their Lord-his matted locks were formed in crown and decked with crest of serpents, he had serpents for his earrings and bracelets, smeared his person with ashes and wrapped a lion skin around his loins,

A trident and a small drum shaped like hour glass adorned his hand-Shiva rode on a bull-female divinities smile to see him they said-the world has no bride worthy of bridegroom-Brahma Vishnu and host of other gods joined the bridegroom's procession and rode on their respective vehicles,

 God Vishnu called all the guardians of the different quarters and smilingly said-every one should march separately with his own retinue, this procession is no worthy of the bridegroom, you make your self a butt of ridicule in a strange city,

The Great Lord Shiva laughed in his sleeves and noticed the humour of Lord Vishnu Never fails, Lord Call Brangi to his attendants-indeed they were different to self in appearance not favorable to the truth of Human race yet the procession was quite worthy of the bridegroom,

Sri Parvati said to the sages that as per your statement Shiva has burnt the god of love betrays woeful lack of thought in you,

Fire possesses this inherent property that frost can never approach it, in case it does it must veritably punish,

Similar is the case with god of love and the Lord Shiva, Hearing the words of Parvati and perceiving her devotion and faith, the sages were gladdened at heart, bowing their head to her, they went to Himachal,

They related the whole episode to him and he was much grieved to hear that Shiva burnt Kama, then sages told about the boon Shiva awarded to Rati-Himachal relieved, Speedily date of wedding fixed as per Vedic precepts, all the god learns to adorn their vehicles and aerial cars of various kind-Happy and auspicious omens were visible and celestial damsels sangs for joy,

Kartik Purnima is designated day for Krishna Prem and love for the lotus feet of Lord Sri Hari Vishnu, Vishnu that cares, Vishnu that loves, Vishnu that a great giver, Vishnu that savior of fallen, Vishnu that refuge of meek and depraved, Vishnu that Lord of sweetness, Obeisance to Lord Vishnu and his wonderful incarnation in the form of Krishna ans Lord Rama,

Seven sages immediately approached Parvati and said, relying on advice of Narada you would heed our remonstrances then, your vow has failed now-for the great Lord Shiva has burnt the god of Love,

Parvati said-you have spoken aright by you Shiva has burnt Kama and till now , was smitten with love,

But to my mind-is eternally in rapport with infinite, unbegotten, irreproachable, passionate and without enjoyment,

Knowing him as such if i have served him lovingly, in thought words and deeds then gracious lord will accomplish my vow,

Having burnt the Kaama, you have done well in granting a boon to Rati, O ocean of Mercy having meted out punishment good masters shower their grace as a matter of course such is their natural habit,

Parvati has practice penance the magnitude of which cannot be estimated kindly accept her Now,

Hearing the entities of Brahma and remembering the words of Lord Rama, Shiva gladly said Amen,

Considering the right moment, the seven sages arrived on the scene , Brahma immediately send then to the abode of Himachal,
