With Sita and His younger brother sri Rama shone forth his hut of leaves,

All the people practised religious austerities and fasted in order to be able to sri Rama again,

Having advice and receiving blessings from Guru, fixed auspicious day and happily installed on the throne of Ayodhya the wooden sandals of Lord Rama,

The two brothers adored the lotus feet of their lord and bowing to the orders of Sri Rama they set out on their journey,

They supplicated the sage, ascetics gods and honored them again and again,

With sincere affection Lord Rama adored the lotus feet of Mother Kaykai and embraced and having removed her all embarrassment and grief saw her off in a palanquin duly equipped for the purpose,

That night spent in narrating sacred legends with love till it was dawn,

Bharata visited all the sacred spots in five days, and behold the lotus feet of sri Rama and said,

Admonish me, O gracious Lord, tell me by practicing which for the remaining period of your exile, the lord comforted him in many ways but without some prop his mind found no consolation or rest, lord at last took compassion on him and gave him his wooden sandal,

He made obeisance and begged leave to depart and Sri Rama clasped him to his bosom,

All returned to the hermitage of Sri Rama, Sage Atri pointed out the purifying power of that holy place,

On Receiving sage's command, Bharata dispatched all the vessels containing the holy water and himself repaired with his younger brother and sage Atri and other hermits and other holy men to the well,

At that moment arrived the people of forest with large quantities of fruits, blossoms, leaves and roots of various kinds loaded in their panniers,

Were sent to all, baskets, with courtesy by Vashista, having worshipped the manes, the gods, the visitors and the Guru they began to partake of this holy repast,

In this way four days rolled by, both men and women gratified to see sri Rama,

Sage Vashista said to Videha, Be consoled O King, Can the darkness of infatuation and attachment ever approach him, the sun of whose wisdom drives away the night of metempsychosis,

it had deep sorrow for its swift current, while fear and delusion constituted its numberless eddies and whirlpools,

The King called together a council of wise men and ministers and Said_

Tell me after careful deliberation what ought to be done now,

 But realising the conditions at Ayodhya and the difficulty in either case nobody gave definite opinion whether he should go or stay at home,

The king now collected himself and after calm reflection dispatched four clever spies to Ayodhya with the following instruction, ascertain whether Bharata means well or ill and come back at once without being recognised,

No one who saw king Vedheha at that time took his name to have any truth behind it,

When the king heard of queen Kaikeyi's wickedness, he was as nonplussed as a serpent without gem,

Prince Bharata crowned king and Sri Rama exiled into woods,

The news caused deep agony to the heart of Mithila's Lord,
