glory of lord Rama speaks on the main subject in clear words that we do not need a different kind of mind to attain higher consciousness. it is the same mind which create bondage for us & which liberates us.
the same mind on varying mode make us happy or miserable, difference lies only in its graduation, a well defined & truly graduated mind on the subject of life always leads to a divine path[path which inflict spiritual light on for the purpose of soul to have interaction with the supreme soul].
