Jai Sri Ram,
Ego is giver of severe pain to spirit in long run especially,

Ego moves on four wheels that higher than highest in self, and develops invisible thorns, even if someone nourish it with care, it pricks them

Knots of ego tie the spirit with Maya tightly which tends it to the down bottom,
