Abandoned Her

Jai Sri Ram,
Sati felt perturbed in her heart at the thought of what she had done,

The extent of her anxiety could neither be gauged nor described,

She realized that Lord Shiva is a supremely unfathomable ocean of mercy, hence he he did not openly declare her fault,

From the attitude of Lord Shiva, however, she judged that Lord had abandoned her, and felt disturb in her heart,

Devi Sati concluded that omnipresent omniscient Lord Shiva had come to know every thing unto subject relates to exchange just before now,

She felt deeply sorry at heart that she had trued to decisive his loving concert,

She realized that woman by nature suffer from duality of mind and ever keep a pace apart from natural,

Even water when mixed with milk sells as milk, look at the unifying process of love, The water, however, is separate from the milk and taste also disappears the moment a drop of acid is introduced into the form of falsehood,

She addressed Shiva in a faltering voice-Tell me, O My merciful Lord,

Then Lord Shiva bowed his head at the lotus feet of Lord and as soon as he invoked Sri Rama the idea came to his mind that he should have no connection with Sati so long as she continue to remain in the body of Sati,

Lord Shiva resolved accordingly and having so resolved the stable minded Shiva proceeded towards his Home,

Even as Lord step forward with charming voice from heaven thundered forth-Glory to great Lord Shiva, who have so staunchly upheld the cause of devotion,

Who else than you can take such a vow,

Great agony in his heart

Sati had assumed the disguise of Sita, This made Shiva much disconsolate at heart,

Lord Shiva said to his self that if i continue with sati as heretofore, the cult of devotion will cease and it will ne indecorous on part to do so,

But Sati is as pure as anything, too chaste to be abandoned and it is a great sin to continue with any more as wife,

The Great Lord Shiva uttered not a word aloud although there was great agony in his heart,

Jai Sri Ram,
Sati said to his consort that you can never be wrong, you can never be untrue,

I am fully convinced in my heart, Lord Shiva when looked within by contemplation and come to know of all truth that sati had done,

Again he bowed his head to delusive power of Lord Rama, which has prompted sati to tell a lie,

What have been preordained by the will of sri Hari must have its way, all wise Shiva thought within himself,

As Sati sat down on the road side after a while she opened her eyes and gazed once more, nothing was there as seen earlier,

Repeated bowing her head unto truth she proceeded to her Lord,

When she came near Lord Shiva smilingly inquired if all was well with her and then said, tell me how did you test sri Rama,

Heaving realized the greatness of sri Rama, Sati in her awe concealed the truth from Shiva and said i made no test, I made obeisance to him like you, what you said cannot be be untrue,

Sati is visualizing truth of Sri Rama the way the things moving around,

while the gods who adored the lord appeared in diverse garbs, the appearance of sri Rama was the same in every case,

Although she saw many Rama with as many as Sita, their garb did not vary,

Seeing the same Rama, Sita and Laxman, Sati was struck with great awe, her hear quivered and she lost her body conscious, closing her eyes she sat down on the way side,

Each separate vision of Rama was attended by whole host of gods with their feminine counterparts, as well as by the whole animate and inanimate creation with its multitudes species,

Devi Sati is on her inner realization that i heeded not the words of Lord Shiva and imposed my own version to testify Sri Rama,

She asked to herself that what reply should i give to My lord Now,

The agony of her heart was most terrible and sri Rama perceived that Devi sati had got vexed, he therefore revealed to her a part of his glory,

As she went on her way Sati beheld strange phenomenon, Rama going ahead of her along with Sri Sita and Laxman, as she looked back find the same scenario, beyond it Sati saw many shva's and Brahma's along with, Sati experience the truth of universe just beside the glory of Lord Rama,

significant words of Sri Rama

Extolling his hear the potency of his Maya, sri Rama smilingly accosted sri Devi sati in a very mild and respectable tone_

Joining the palms of his hands, Sri Rama first made obeisance to her mentioning his name along with the name of his father,

He then asked about the her Lord Mahadev, and wondered what made her roam about all alone in the forest,

Sri Sati felt very very indifferent when heard these soft yet significant words of Sri Rama, in her thoughts she turned towards the great Shiva with a felling pf awe and much dejected at heart,

When Laxman saw Uma Kalyani Devi Sati in her disguise, he was astonished and much puzzled,

He was tongue tied and looked very grave; the sagacious brother acquainted with the lord's glory,

The all pervading lord and inner controller of all and lord of gods Sri Rama, took no time in detaching the false appearance of Sati,

Sri Rama was the same omniscient Lord whose very thought wipes out the ignorance, Sati sought practice deception even on him, here the nature of women is highlighted,

Lord Shiva said to himself that after all, whatever Sri Rama has willed must come to pass, why should one add to the complication by indulging in further speculations,

Saying so- Lord Shiva began to mutter the name of Lord Sri Hari Vishnu,

And in main time Sati proceeded to the spot where the all blissful Sri Rama was,

After many anxious thoughts Sati Assumed the form of Sri Sita and Moved ahead on the same rout along which the ruler of men Sri Rama was passing,

Thus obtaining leave of Shiva, Sati proceeded on her mission to identify Sri Rama,

On other side, Lord Shiva came to know that mischief was in store in mind of Sati,

When her doubts did not yields even to my assurances, Lord Said to himself that stars are unpropitious, no goodwill will pass,

Although Lord Shiva repeated this time after time, his exhortation made no impression on the heart of Sati,

Then Great Lord Shiva smilingly said, realizing his heart the potency of Sri Hari's Maya,

I shall be waiting in the shade of this Banyan tree till you back here, using your critical judgement you should resort to some device whereby stupendous error born of your ignorance be rectified,

Even Vishnu takes a human form for the sake of gods, is omniscient like slayer of Tripura, Shiva can he wander in search of his consort like an ignorant man, he who is repository of knowledge, Lord of the goddess of Wealth and prosperity and slayer of demons, the words of shambhu cannot be false,

When Devi Beheld lord Shiva in this state, a grave doubt arose in her mind that Lord Shiva is the Lord of this universe himself and deserves universal adoration,

Gods men and sages all bow their head to him, yet he has obeisance to this prince, referring him to be the supreme being who is all truth conscious and bliss,

He feasted his eyes on that ocean of beauty; but did not disclose his identity as he knew it was inappropriate occasion for the same,

The Lord was thus lost in reverie, meanwhile the Ravana took him the demon Marica, who forthwith assumed the illusory form of  a deer,

The Ravana carried off Daughter of Great king Janaka, Sri Sita, by fraud, the Lord's real might was not not to him,

Having killed the antelope Sri Rama returned with his Brother Laxman and saw the hermitage was without sri Sita,

Eyes of Lord filled with tears when he saw Sri Sita missing, lord felt distressed at the loss like a  mortal man and Two brothers roamed about in the woods in search of Sri Sita, he who knows neither union nor separation showed unmistakable signs of grief born of separation,

Lord Shiva, in his mind apprehended lest the secret might be disclosed while the temptation of obtaining a sight of the lord made his eyes wistful,

If it do not go to meet him, i shall ever regret it,

Shiva pondered, but found no solution to the puzzle,

The lord has bodied himself forth secretly and if i visit him, everyone will know who he is, in shiva's heart there was great tumult, Sati had no inking of this secret,

In panchavati near godavari Sri Rama had his abode in hermitage,

Sri Rama took up his abode there the sages lived happily and were rid of all fears,

The hills, woods, stream and lakes were stuffed with beauty and grew yet more Day by Day,
