Hearing Bharata's truthful, artless, and sincere words Kaushalya Said, you, my dear child, have always loved Rama, Rama is dearer to you than your own life, likewise, you are dearer to Rama,
Moon may defuse poison and snow may emit fire, the aquatic creature may shun water and the spiritual soul may fail to eradicate errors, but in no case will you turn hostile to Rama,
Sage Vashista then came and admonished Bharata in ways more than one, speaking in words of wisdom to extinguish the fire of his agony,
Said the sage, have courage in your heart, do what occasion demands, ask Bharat for the most splendid funeral of the body of the king, washed the body with eternal verses, the body laid on the logs of sandalwood with aromatic herbs, cremation goes through, water in palms with sesame seeds offered to facilitate the departed soul, other rites of purification is performed sanctity with truth and submission, Brahmans have their desire fulfilled,
