Whatever rites Bharata performed for the benefit of his father in that world, were beyond words, thereafter those sanctifying oblations Sage Vashista called on Bharta and sat him beside and relates the requisite on the occasion,
Sage overwhelmed with grief and emotion said, Listen Bharata, FORMIDABLE IS THE FATE,
Loss and Gain, life and death, glory and infamy lie in the hands of providence,
Arguing thus, whom should be blamed, whom should we anger, ponder in your heart, my son, King Dasaratha not worth grieving for, Pitiable is the Brahman that ignores Vedas,,,, pitiable is the king that abandoned his duty towards citizens,,,, pitiable are all those who willfully ignore their duties prescribed by the social cult in society,,,,, most pitiable is that recluse who is attached to the world excessively and failed himself in truth with discretion and dispassion,
