You have removed all my doubts, O gracious Lord the reality of Rama has been revealed to me, by your grace, my gloom has been lifted and i feel happy now, now regarding me as your slave, please answer my former question-if you pleased with me,why did he take the form of a human being,

He could say no more and remained clasping the feet of Lord Shiva,

The Ocean of Mercy Lord Shiva reassured his father-in-law in every possible way,

Taking sacred Kusa Grass in his hand and holding the bride by her hand, Himachal made her over to shiva knowing her to be his eternal consort-when Lord Shiva took the hand of the bride, all the great gods were glad at heart and principal sages chanted the Vedic verses while gods exclaimed, Victory---victory---victory---all victory to Lord Shiva,

The wedding of Shiva and Bhavani was thus concluded-a spirit rejoicing pervaded the whole universe,

Mother Bhavani, the Mine of beauty, walked to the middle of pavilion, where Shiva was-out of shyness she could not gaze on her Lord's lotus feet, although her heart was fixed thereon like a bee,

Having been served with water for rinsing the mouth at the end of dinner, they were given betel-leaves and then they returned to their respective lodgings,

The seven sages called once more and read out to Himachal the Note according to time fixed for wedding, perceiving that hour had arrived, the letter sent for the gods,

Himachal politely sent for all the gods and assigned an appropriate seat to each of them, an alter was prepared in accordance with the Vedic ritual and women chanted charming festal strains,

A divinity beautiful throne with the images of pair of lions for its arms was placed on the altar, bowing his head to the Brahmans and calling to his mind his own master, Shiva took his seat on the throne,

All citizens, including men and women and children along wiith youth and old aged ere immensely delighted, festive songs began as be sung in the city, vases of gold of every pattern were displayed by all,

Himachal respectfully summoned all members of the bridegroom's party, including Brahma Vishnu and other gods of all classes, the dinner guest sat in many rows and expert cooks began to serve,

In good ssoth the sage is passionless and without affection, has no wealth, no dwelling and home, no shame no fear

How strange that a fruit which should have adorned the wish-yielding tree in helplessly appeared on the thorny Babula,

Mena kindled auspicious lights for waving around the bridegroom and the woman accompanying her sang melodies songs of rejoicing, a salver of Gold adorned mena's fair hand and She proceeded to Welcome Lord Shiva with great delight,

He is accompanied by ghosts and evil spirits, Goblins and fairies and demons with a frightful countenance, he who survives on seeing the bridegroom's procession is a man of great luck indeed, and will witness the wedding of Uma-these words uttered by the children from house to house,

The splendor of city was so captivating that after a glance at it the creative skill of Brahma himself looked very small, men and women of the city were so lovely and ingenious that they enraptured the hearts even of sages,

The city in which the mother of the universe had bodied herself forth baffled all descriptions, prosperity success, wealth and happiness were always on the increase there and presented a new aspect,

When it was heard that the bridegroom was close at hand-there was commotion in the city, which added to its charm but when boys of the city have look unto the attendants on lord Shiva, phobia runs through them-bridegroom himself was indifferent to the truth of mundane beauty,

The attendants of Shiva began to adorn their Lord-his matted locks were formed in crown and decked with crest of serpents, he had serpents for his earrings and bracelets, smeared his person with ashes and wrapped a lion skin around his loins,

A trident and a small drum shaped like hour glass adorned his hand-Shiva rode on a bull-female divinities smile to see him they said-the world has no bride worthy of bridegroom-Brahma Vishnu and host of other gods joined the bridegroom's procession and rode on their respective vehicles,

 God Vishnu called all the guardians of the different quarters and smilingly said-every one should march separately with his own retinue, this procession is no worthy of the bridegroom, you make your self a butt of ridicule in a strange city,

The Great Lord Shiva laughed in his sleeves and noticed the humour of Lord Vishnu Never fails, Lord Call Brangi to his attendants-indeed they were different to self in appearance not favorable to the truth of Human race yet the procession was quite worthy of the bridegroom,

They related the whole episode to him and he was much grieved to hear that Shiva burnt Kama, then sages told about the boon Shiva awarded to Rati-Himachal relieved, Speedily date of wedding fixed as per Vedic precepts, all the god learns to adorn their vehicles and aerial cars of various kind-Happy and auspicious omens were visible and celestial damsels sangs for joy,

Henceforth, O Rati, your husband shall be called by the name of Ananga that bodiless, he shall dominate all even without a body and hear how you will meet him again,

When Sri Krishna will descends in the line of Yadu to relieve the earth of its heavy burden, your Lord will born again as his son Pradhyumna-this prediction of mine will can never be untrue, hearing the words of Shiva rati went away,

When Brahma and other gods received all the tidings, they repaired to vaikuntha and all including Brahma and Vishnu went to Lord Shiva and severally extolled and won the heart of Lord Shiva who is by nature an ocean of compassion, Shiva said tell me what has brought you here, Brahma replied that O Lord you are inner controller of all, even than my master my devotion to you urges me to make the following submission-the heart of all the immortals is seized with a dominating impulse, they long to witness your wedding with their own eyes, O humbler of pride of Love, Devise some means whereby we may be enable to feast our eyes on this glad event,

Sati has born in the house of Himalaya but Shiva has renounced everything, Let us approach cupid the god of love and send him to Shiva to disturb the serenity of the mind of Shiva, they meet and express their desire but Kaama Dev Said with smile-i expect no good for myself from hostility to shambhu,

However, i shall do your work; for Vedas say benevolence is the highest virtue,

So saying god of love bowed his head to all and departed with his all associate, he thought hostility to Shiva means that yet he exhibited his power and brought the world under his sway, whatever creature existed in the world whether animate or inanimate bearing masculine and feminine appellations transgressed their bounds and were completely possessed by lust,

Even great Yogis and ascetics were completely possessed by lust, to saying nothing of low minded people, women perceive the whole world as full of men while later beheld it as full of women, nearly an hour this wonderful game of love lasted in this universe, nobody could remains self possessed---the God of love with his army of followers exhausted all his numberless stratagems; Shiva's unbroken trance, could not be disturbed,

A demon Taraka by name flourished in those days his strength of arm, glory and majesty were great indeed, he conquered all spheres, all the gods robbed of their happiness and prosperity knowing neither age nor death, he was invincible, god fought many battles with him but fail they went to Brahma with their state, Brahma found all the gods miserable, assured them by saying that the demon shall die when there is a son From Shiva for he alone can subdue the demon in battle,

Men and women who listen to Narada's advice are sure to leave their home and become mendicants,guileful at heart, he bear on his person the marks of pious man; he make everyone like himself,

Relying on his words you crave for a husband who is apathetic by nature, devoid of attributes, homeless and naked, wears string of skulls around neck without a family and has serpents for his ornaments-tell us what happiness do you expect from such a husband, can women ever stay in the house of habitual recluse, even now accept our advice- we have an excellent match for you Sri hari Vishnu, parvati replied had you meet me earlier, O great sages i would have listened your advice with reverence but now i have staked my life for Shiva, who will weigh the merits and demerits, I fall at your feet it is already late, i have to continue struggle for ten millions lives-i will not disregard Narada's admonition even if Shiva himself tell me a hundred times to do so,

 Embodiment of intelligence and bliss abode of happiness, Shiva is ever free from error, arrogance and desire roamed about on the earth with his heart fixed on Lord Sri Hari Vishnu,

Uma went to forest and began her penance, her dedicate frame was little fit for austerities; yet she renounced all luxuries fixing her mind on the feet of her Lord,

Her devotion presented a new phase everyday and she got absorbed in penance that she lost all conscious of her body, while another hundred years she subsisted on the fruits and vegetables

For some days her only sustenance was water and the air, while for a few days she observed a rigorous fast, for three thousand years she sustain one leaves and bela, finally she gave up even dry leaves and earn the name APARNA

Seeing her body emaciated through self mortification the deep voice of Brahma resounded through the heavens-listen O daughter of mountain King-your desire is accomplish-cease all your rigorous penance; slayer of Tripura will soon be yours,

Recognise the truth of words of Narada and practice austerity,
Austerity is conductive to joy and put a pause to sorrow
By virtue of penance sesa beholds the earth
By virtue of penance Vishnu protects the whole universe
By virtue of penance Shiva brings bout dissolution.

Mother filled with wonder by words of her loving daughter, went to Himalaya and communicated, Sage veasera came and consoled them all they were comfort when they heard the Glory of Devi Parvati,

Having spoken thus, the sage returned to the abode of Brahma, there finding her husband alone mother of parvati uma kalyani Sri Mena said to him, i did not follow the words of sage, if match is not there than why we proceed with, the girl better remain unmarried; for; my lord, Uma is dear to me as my own life-if we fail to secure a suitable match for Uma every one will say us dull,

Having spoken these words Mena laid herself prostrate with her head at the feet of her Lord, Himalaya replied in enduring terms sooner shall the moon emit flames of fire than the prophecy of Narada should prove untrue,

Put away all anxiety-my dear- and fix your thought on lord, he alone who has created Parvati will bring her happiness, Now if you cherish any love for your child, then go and admonish her that she should  practice austerity which may bring about her union with Shiva, there is no other way to overcome sorrow,

The words of Narada are full of reason, Shiva is house of virtues and truth of beauty, hearing the words of her consort mena felt delighted at heart,

If her marriage takes place with shiva every one will call the demerits as good virtue,
Even Sri Hari uses the serpent-god sesa as his couch and sleeps thereon-no one blames him
Even so the fire and the sun absorb moisture in all forms but no one recalls them
Water of all description, pure as well impure, flows into Ganga yet no one calls heavenly stream impure,
Even like the sun, the fire and the Ganga, the mighty incur no blame,

Holy men would never drink wine even if they came to know that had been made of water from Ganga but the same wine if poured into Ganga they take it with respect,

Shambhu is all-powerful by nature for he is no other than God himself hence matrimony with him will prove auspicious in every way,

You know everything including the past, present and the future and have access everywhere, O good sage-tell me what is good and what is bad, about my daughter after a mature consideration, the sage smilingly replied in the following soft yet significant words-----your daughter is mine of all virtues-pretty, amiable and intelligent by nature-----she will called Uma-Umbica-kalyani-adorned with all traits-the girl shall win the unfailing love of her husband-------she shall ever remains united with her Lord------ and bring glory to her parents------she shall command the respect of this universe-he who wait upon her shall lack nothing,

BY MARE THOUGHT OF HER NAME WOMEN IN THIS WORLD SHALL BE ENABLED TO THREAD THE PATH OF FIDELITY TO THEIR LORD, which is sharp as the edge of a sword,

O Himalaya-your Daughter is endowed with auspicious marks-hear now few drawback she possesses- Devoid of merits, free from pride, without father and mother, unconcerned and free from doubts, an ascetic with matted hair and a heart devoid of longing, stark naked and with hideous accouterments-such a one shall be her Lord as i can read from the lines on her palm,

Having reasoned with her in many ways when Shiva at last perceived that Sati was not going stay, arrange few of his principal attendants as her escort and sent her away,

When Sati reached there in her father's house, no one greeted her for fear of incurring Daksha's in-pleasure, only her mother met her kindly, Sati then went to her father foe equerry unto burning subject, there was no place for Shiva in sacrifice being made by Daksha  made Devi Sati indifferent altogether, her heart burnt within her at thought of insult offered to her Lord, there are terrible agonies of various kinds in this world but the insult offered to one's own people is most painful of them all-it made Sati furious-her mother tries to pacify her in many ways but insult of Shiva was unbearable to her in any case-here heart could not pacified-sharply reproaching the whole     assembly-she spoke in angry accents______

Hear ye elders of assembly and all great sages! all of you who have reviled Shiva or heard him reviled must forthwith reap the fruits of your sin and my father too shall-slayer of demons Lord Shiva is a universal spirit, is lord of this universe and is beneficent to all- it is him that my father has vilified and this body of mine is from the sprung from the lions of Daksha-therefore installing in my heart Lord Shiva, i shall immediately quite this body, as spoke thus she burnt her body with the fire of Yoga----a plaintive cry rose from the whole assembly,


Hearing death of Sati, attendants of Shiva began to destroy the sacrifice, sage braghu tries to protect it as Shiva got all the news sent Veer Bhadra to destroy the sacrifice or yagna, requited all the gods according to their deserts Daksha meet the fate and their after the mercy of Lord Shiva that known to the whole world-while dying Devi Sati asked a boon of Sri Hari Vishnu that she might remain devoted to the feet of Shiva in all successive births and that is Why SHE WAS REBORN IN THE HOUSE OF HIMACHAL_EVER SINCE SHE INCARNATED AS UMA IN THE HOUSE OF HIMACHAL< HIMALAYA BECOMES THE ABODE OF BLESSINGS AND PROSPERITY,

The grief that preyed on Sati's mind was ever new; for she did not know when she would be able to cross the ocean of sorrow-Sati was in deep thoughts of her agony that providence has repaid me for my sins and had done only which i deserve-Now O God, it does not be-hove you that you should make me survive even after alienating me from Shiva, The anguish of her heart was beyond measure-Sati-the sane lady invoked the presence of Rama in her heart and addressed him thus-if they refer you as compassionate to the poor and if Vedas have glorified you as dispeller of sorrow------i beseech with joined palm-O Lord that i may be speedily rid of this body of mine,

 If i have any devotion to the feet of Shiva and if i am true my my vow in thought words and deeds, then O all pervading Lord, listen to me and speedily devise some plan whereby i may die and be thus rid of this unbearable    calamity  without much exertion,

Sati-the daughter of Daksha thus feel miserable her deep agony was terrible beyond words, 87000 years elapsed and Shiva emerged from his trance with chanting the name of Sri Rama, as Sati come to know went and bow her head, lord Shiva oblige her in many decent ways-meanwhile Brahma made Daksha supreme lord of all beings which encourage him to perform a yagna, never a creature born in this world whom power did not intoxicate,

Daksha invited all in his sacred yagna but his son-in-law Shiva, Sati come to know about this great yagna by her father and seek permission from Shiva to attend it, Shiva said that anomaly is that your father has sent no invitation to us, has invited all daughters but ignore us for a reason that in Brahma's court once took offence at my behavior and that is why he insults us even now, if you go there without invitation all decorum affection and honor will cast to wind-no doubt true one should call on one's friend, master, father's home without a formal invitation yet where someone nurses a grudge against you-you reap no good by going there, though tries all to convince Sati but fate had willed it wisdom would not dawn on her, the lord repeated once more that if she went her father's home uninvited he anticipate no good from it,

Sati dwelt in kailash, her mind grievously sorrowing, no body knew anything what was going in her mind, but the days hung heavy on her like so many yugas or ages,

Shiva resolved accordingly and heaving so resolved the stable minded lord Shiva proceeded towards his Home-who else can take such a vow as Lord Shiva was voice from heaven which troubled Devi sati,

Seeing the same Rama, the same Laxmana and the same Sita, Sati was truck with great awe,

Her queered and she lost consciousness of her body-closing down her eyes she sat on the floor on the wayside, when she opened her eyes and gazed once more, she saw nothing there,

She proceeded to the spot where her Lord was, when she come near, Lord Shiva smilingly inquired if all was well with her then said-tell me now the whole truth-how did you test Sri Rama,

She turned towards the great Lord Shiva with different feeling and dejected at heart,

Sati was in deep thoughts to answer the query of Lord Shiva, Sri Rama further adds to the thoughts of Sati when he appeared just ahead of Sati along with Sita, when Sati turned face back find both of them following her,

Whichever way Sati turned her eyes, there was Lord enthroned with Siddhas adepts and illuminated sages ministering to him, Sati saw more than one set of Shiva, Brahma. and Vishnu, each set possessing a glory infinitely greater than that of others, she also beheld a whole host of gods bowing at the lord's feet, waiting upon him in their different garbs,

Each separate vision of Rama was attended by a whole host of gods with their feminine counterparts, as well as by the whole animate and inanimate creation with its multitudinous species

So saying Lord Shiva began to muttering the name of sri Hari, while Devi Sati proceeded to the spot where the all blissful Sri Rama was,

After many an anxious thought Devi Sati assumed the form of Sita and moved ahead on the same route along which the ruler of men Sri Rama was passing,

I shall be waiting in the shade of this banyan till you come back to me-using your critical judgement you should resort to some device whereby the stupendous error born of your ignorance may be rectified,

Thus obtaining leave of Shiva, Devi Sati Proceeded towards Rama, she racked her brains to find out the step she should take in order to test truth of Sri Rama, and here Shiva came to truth unto mischief that trapped the mind of Sati,

 Both King and the merchant, in order to have glimpse of mother, stationed themselves on the bank of river and practice penance in varying ways with hymn to Devi, for three years they propitiated her with faith and reverence makes it to manifest mother that pleased with-Devi Said What you Solicite, O king, the delight of your family, recive all that from me, well pleased i bestow these to you both,

King choose kingdom that imperishable even in Next Birth, and this life too-wise merchant whose mind was full of dispassion, chose that knowledge which removes attachments and leads to final beatitude, Devi Said-O king-after slaying your foes in few days you shall obtain your kingdom and it shall last with you there, when you dead, you shall gain another birth in the name of Manu will be a successful king for sure< Devi Said to merchant that i grant you the boon which yo have desired of me for your self realization, Having thus granted them both that each desired, Devi DISAPPEARED forthwith and they extolled her with devotion,

Having thus gained the oon from Devi, King-the regain his lost kingdom and Merchant blessed with truth of his desire------Today it is Dussera too along with Naomi tithi of Sri Sharad Navratrey-On dussera Lord Rama Killed Demon King Ravana and this day is celebrtaed like anything_-------Obeisance to you Mother, Please accept my humble Homage

When Devas from heaven and man from earth pray to me and praise, i shall look at with favors-when there will be no rain i shall born on the drought ridden earth but not womb begotten, behold munis with hundred eyes so mankind shall glorify me and i shall maintain the whole world with life sustaining vegetables that born out of my comic body, there i shall slay the great asura Durgama and i shall be known as Devi Durga, when i shall stay at Himalaya sages will identify with might as Bheema devi and i shall slain great Asura,

Thus whenever troubles arise due to the advent of demons and Asura shaktiesi shall incarnate and destroy them, Devi Said that whoso ever with a concentrated mind shall to me-i shall put down trouble there and then without any doubt, they who recite and realize truth unto me ever remain realized and at distant from afflictions of Maya, Eighth day of brighter half and fourteenth day of dark half of the fortnight shall be favorable days to recall me pastimes which invite my blessings for all aspects of life, i will accept all oblation, offerings- i will accept with love the sacrifices and the worship that made and the fire offerings whether they are done will due knowledge or not, worship performed at the autumnal season attain great satisfaction from my devotion through my grace and these days proves dispeller of fear that makes one rejoice eternally with my grace, Glorification of mine dewas devotees very near to me--------Having spoken thus the adorable Mother, fierce in prowess disappears from the spot even as the Devas gazing on, Obeisance to You Mother, Revere your lotus feet again and again on the occasion,

They wanted to merry the most beautiful woman but wre suppose to cross the vow of mother to defeat in battlefield which provokes them, and this involves them in battle with mother-Dhumralochana was the limit of might face tough time in the battle field and mother killed in like anything along with his fellow fighters, Then it comes Chand and Mund-the truth of terror in self and face of death for anyone and mother killed them both without any extra effort, It comes Raktabeej who was truth of manifest death-he had skill to regain lost body in fraction of second through a single drop of his blood, Through one form mother swallow his blood and from other form killed him hard to vanish his truth,

Infinite demons manifest there to fight with mother but meet the fate with end soon invite Nishumbh which last for only very short tenure and take his abode in truth of death, and it follows Shumbh-Shumbh tries his best but fail on all fronts to counter self and lost to death at last by the might of Mother Ambike, when evil Asura slain, universe become happy and regained perfect peace and the sky grew clear,

On the death of Demon Shumbh, Devas become overjoyed and Gandharvas sang songs, the Sun become very brilliant, sacred fires blazed peacefully and tranquil became the strange sound that had risen in different quarters,

Mother, your gentle smile that indicate purity and unalloyed supreme truth is your gracious nature for devotees, who you please enjoy the truth of success on the sphere of life and their acts of righteousness never ceases to exist in any regions one exist with, indeed your blessings erase the fear of all kinds that in true spirit-you are dispeller of poverty pain and agonies , your nature is to subdue the conduct of wicked-your prowess is beyond comparison as that of your infinite beauty and gracious nature, O mother-O Devi please protect us and mother assured them in many ways and disappears from scene,
