Prahast Said to Ravana that all your ministers tell you only what is pleasing to you not the truth, truth is different in self from the worldly praise,

I am to submit humbly that their verdict never lead you to success,

Please Make a note that a stray monkey sprang across the ocean and come this side and the people still extol his doings in their heart of hearts, what! did done of you have any appetite then to make him food,

Why did you not seize and devour him while he was burning your city, your minister can give you advice limited to pleadings words bare from truth,

She said, please listen to my words without getting angry, my beloved, one should enter into hostilities with him alone whom one may be able to conquer by wit or physical force,

The disparity between you and Sri Rama is beyond description, he who disposed of powerfulful madhu and kaitabha and finished the most valiant son of Diti, who bound bali and dispatched king sahastrabahu,

It is he who have descended on earth to relieve it from sins, Bowing head at Sri Rama's lotus feet restore Sri Sita to him then handing over the kingdom to son and retiring to the forest to worship lord sri Hari Vishnu,

The moment Ravan heard that sea has been bridged, said  Has he really bridged the waves, the billows, the sea, the ocean,

He realized his own nervousness and laughed and left the scene, Mandodari his loving consort takes the scene and tries to elaborate the truth with joined palm,

Lord Rama Said no one else is dear to me as Lord shiva, they who worship Lord Shiva will attain my blessings automatically, i ever help the devotees of Lord Shiva, i feel obliged to serve them,

Supplicant before an idiot, friendship with rogue, inculcating liberality on a born miser talking wisdom to steeped in worldliness, glorifying dispassion before a man of excessive greed a lecture on mind control to an irascible man discoursed on the exploits of Sri Hari to a libidinous person are futile as sowing seeds in a barrel land, this delights the heart of laxman,

He was an enlighten sage; it was by curse of sage august that he had been transformed into a demon, Adoring Sri Rama's Feet again and again the sage returned to his hermitage,

Triumph and glory in this world are inaccessible to him who has a cowardly counsellors like vibhishana,

Suka felt angry to hear the words of Ravana and read out the message for him by Laxman That beguiling your mind with flattering words, O fool, do not bring your race to utter ruin, by courting enemy with sri Rama you will not be spared in any case even in refuge of Lord Shiva, therefore abandon pride like your brother either seek refuge in Lord Rama or be consumed with your family like a moth into the fire of shafts of Sri Rama,

Sri Vibhishan said, Listen my Lord-though your arrow itself can dry up innumerable oceans, yet propriety demands that you should approach the ocean and request the deity presiding over it,

My Lord, the deity presiding over the ocean is an ancestor of yours; hence he will think over the subject and suggest some way of crossing the ocean,

The tiers of affection that binds a man to his mother, father, brother, son, wife, body, wealth, house, friend and relations are like so many threads which a pious soul gathers up and twists into a string wherewith he binds his soul to my feet, maintain a same eye for all and keep mind even on joy and sorrow, a saint of such kind resides in my heart,

Lord Said, in either case bring him here, Monkeys cried and proceeded with angada and sri Hanuman,

The monkeys respectfully placed Sri Vibhishan  ahead of them and proceeded to the place where all merciful lord Rama was,

Sri Vibhishana beheld from a distance the two brothers who ravished the eyes of all,

Again he beheld Sri Rama, the home of beauty, he stopped winking and stood stock still with his gaze intently fixed on the Lord,

Lord Said in very clear words that i have aversion for duplicity, wiles and censoriousness,

Even if ravana has sent him to take our secrets, we have nothing to fear about or lose, O Sugreeva-my friend, laxmana alone is enough to killed the entire demon race,

Laxmana can dispose of in a trice all the demons the world contains,

And if he has Sought shelter in me even out of fear, i will cherish him as my own life,

Lord Rama Said in very simple words with truth of soul that those who forsake a suppliant, apprehending evil from him are vile and sinful, Their very sight is abominable,

I will not abandon even the murderer of myriads of Brahmans, if he seek refuge in me,

The moment a creature turns its face towards me the sins incurred by it through millions of lives are washed away,

A sinner by his very nature averse to my worship, had vibhishan been wicked at heart, could he ever dare to approach me, man alone with pure mind can attain me,

Sri Sugreeva Said To Sri Rama, O Lord, Ravana's brother has come to see you, Lord however asked, what do you thing unto it my friend,

Sugreeva replied that Listen O Lord, the wiles's of these demons are beyond comprehension,

They are capable of taking any form to cheat anyone, he has come here to spy out our secrets,

What appeals to me is to detain him as prisoner, Lord Said-you have thought out a wise course yet my vow is to dispel the fears from the mind of those take refuge in me, sri hanuman rejoiced to hear the words of Lord, he cherish paternal affection for his protege,

Sri Vibhishana rejoice with eternal feeling to have a glimpse of his master lord sri Hari vishnu in the form of Lord Rama,

He confirm to himself that, i will go today and presently behold with these eyes of mine those very feet in whose wooden sandals bharat's mind remains absorbed,

cherishing such fond expectations Vibhishan instantly crossed over to the other side of the ocean where Sri Rama had encamped with his host,

When Monkeys saw vibhishan coming, they took him with special messenger of the enemy, detaining him outside they approached Sugreeva and relates the truth,

Lotus Feet

श्री हनुमान चालीसा,
Jai sri Ram,
Vibhishana is now dreaming unto the lotus feet of Lord, he is of the view that on reaching there i will behold those lotus feet with ruddy soles, so soft and so delightful to devotees,

I will behold those Feet whose very touch redeemed the rishi's wife Ahilya,

The Lotus feet that hallowed the dandak van or forest

The lotus feet that janaka's daughter has locked up in her bosom,

The lotus feet that chases the delusive deer and that dwell as a pair of lotus in the lake of shiva's heart and i am truly blessed that i am going to see those very feet,

Sri Vibhishana proceeded

श्री हनुमान चालीसा,
Jai Sri Ram,
No sooner had vibhishan left with these words than doom of them all was sealed,

It is for a note and truth all the way on the sphere of life for man that

Disrespect to a saint, immediately robs one of all blessings,

The very moment Ravana abandoned Sri Vibhishana, virtually he lost all of his glory, indulging in many of his expectation Sri Vibhishana proceeded towards Lord Rama,

Though Ravan kicked Sri Vibhishana yet he clasped Ravana's feet again again,

Here lord shiva elaborate the truth of saintly wisdom to Sri Uma kalyani that,

Here lies the greatness of a saint, who return good for evil, Vibhishan said it is well you have beaten me, since you are like a father to me but your welfare lies in refuge of Lord Rama,

taking his ministers with him, sri Vibhishana departed through the aerial route so as to make himself heard all, Sri Ram is true to his resolve and all powerful; while your councillors are all doomed, i therefore now betake myself to the Rama for protection; blame me no more,

Vibhishana said in very humble manner to ravana with pray that

O dear brother i clasping your feet i beseech you, grant this prayer of mine as a token of affection for me,

Please restore Sri Sita to Sri Rama so that no harm may come to you,

Sri Vibhishan spoke wisdom and that too in words that had the approval of wise, as well as of the ancient books unto truth, Ravana rose in a fury as he heard them and said O wretch , your death is imminent now, O fool, you lived on my generosity yet have favor for my enemy, tell me if if there is anyone in this world whom i have failed to conquer by the might of my arm, dwelling in my house you cherish love for hermits, it is if so then go and join with them and tech wisdom there and he kicked vibhishana and insulted him

With the harsh words of Ravana Malyavina return to his residence while vibhishana was on way to convince on his point to Ravana,

Again with joined palms vibhishana said to Ravana that wisdom and unwisdom dwell in the heart of all: so declared by the ancient literature,

Where there is wisdom, prosperity of every kind reigns

where there is unwisdom misfortune follows all along -perversity has obviously taken your possession of your heart: that is why you account your friends as foes and your enemies as your friend, know it for sure that want of sita for you is nothing but very night of destruction for demon race,
