श्री हनुमान चालीसा,
Jai Sri Ram,

Sri Hanuman explained the circumstances in which a union was brought about in between men and monkeys,
As she heard the affectionate words of Sri Hanuman, her soul trusted him and recognise him to be a servant of all merciful Lord in thought words and deeds,

perceiving him to be a devotee of Sri Rama, she developed intense affection for him-her eyes filled in tears and a thrill ran through her body-to me who was being drowned in the ocean of desolation, dear hanuman, you have come as a veritable bark,

Now tell me-i adjure you, the welfare of all blissful lord Rama and his younger brother-how the tendered hearted compassionate lord become so hard hearted, does lord remember me-will my eyes ever gladdened by the sight of his worthy limbs and words failed her and her eyes swam with tears, and said O lord, you have forgotten me-seeing sita distressed her in soft and polite accents that lord and his brother is doing well except the fact that all merciful lord is sorrowful because of your sorrow,

Please do not feel vexed at heart, mother, Sri Rama loves you twice as much as you love him, mother compose yourself and hear the message of Lord Rama,
