I revere Lord Shiva, the Lord of Kashi, the consort of Girija, store house of good qualities, the destroyer of cupid, worthy all praise, shining like a conch shell or the moon, most handsome personality, clad in tiger skin decked with dreadful ornaments in the shape of deadly serpents, fond of Ganga and the Moon, the allayers of the sins of the kali age and the celestial tree yielding the fruit of blessedness for the mare asking.
May lord Shiva, the bestower of blessings, who confers on the virtues even final beatitude, which is so difficult to obtain and who punishes the evil doers, extent his blessings.
