You Ask me, where should i take up my residence, but i ask you with diffidence, tell me first the place where you are not, then alone i can show you a suitable place,

Lord Related to him the whole story as to how the queen had exiled him in the woods, beholding yout lotus feet, all the good deeds have been rewarded,

Now i intend to go where no anchorite may feel disturbed, Sage said-you are quite right-why should you not speak thus, ever busy in maintaining the laws laid by the Vedas, You are custodian of vedic law and lord of the universe, Your Being O Rama is beyond the range of speech and conception, Vedas ever speak of it as not this not this,

Sri Sita was tired

Jai sri Ram,
To this very day, anyone whose heart the wayfarers Laxmana, Sita and Rama, should ever lodge even in dream shall find a road leading to sri Rama's abode, the divine abode by the name of Saketa, the road that should scared any anchorite may find,

Then Perceiving that Sri Sita was tired and seeing a banyan tree and cool water hard by, Lord Partook of bulbs, root and fruits and staying there overnight and bathing down the lord proceeded further,

And I behold lovely woods, lakes and hill the lord reached the hermitage of Valmiki, Sri Rama saw the beautiful dwelling with its charming hills and forest and its sacred water,

The lotuses in the ponds and the trees in the woods were in blossom, intoxicated with their honey bees sweetly hummed over them, birds and beasts made a tumultuous noise and moved about in joy from all animosities,

Accompanied Laxmana and Sita, lord proceeded on his way, women children and aged however, wrung their hands and lamented, this way the people were smitten with love wherever Sri Rama went,

Sri Rama walked in front while Laxmana followed in the rear, both conspicuous in robes of ascetics, between the two Sita shone Like Maya that stands between Brahma and the individual soul,

Avoiding the footprints both of Rama and Sita, Laxmana traversed the road always them to his right,

Whosoever Saw the beloved travellers, joyously reached the end of the toilsome journey of life without exertion,

Until a man gets sincerely devoted to you in thought words and deeds, he cannot dream of happiness in spite of all devices,

Sri Rama reposed in the hermitage overnight, at the day break bathed at Prayaga and proceeded on his journey, sri Rama lovingly asked the sage-tell me my lord, by which route we should go, sage replied that all roads are easy to you, Sri Rama dismissed the students that escorted them Sri Rama then bathed in the pious stream of Yamuna,

Holy Prayag represents inaccessible, strong and lovely fortress that no enemy has ever dreamt of possessing, The confluence of Ganga and Yamuna  constitute his exquisite throne, while immortal banyan tree represents its umbrella,

The waves of Sri Ganga and Yamuna constitute his chowries, whose very sight destroy sorrow and want,

Sita addressed the celestial Ganga

The Lord as well as Laxmana and Sita did their utmost but ferryman would accept nothing,

The all merciful Rama, therefore, dismissed him after bestowing on him the boon of unalloyed devotion, Lord Bathed in Sri Ganga and after worshipping a newly made clay image of Shiva bowed head to the deity,

With joined palms Sita addressed the celestial Ganga, Mother Pray accomplish my desire, that i may return with my husband and his younger brother and worship you, in response to Prayer, steeped as it was in the nectar of love, happy utterance came from the holy stream, Listen O Vaidehi-by addressing a humble prayer to me you have done me a favour and exalted me-yet, O venerable Lady, bless you i must, just in order to fulfil my speech,

With your Beloved Lord and his younger brother you shall safely return to Ayodhya, every wish of your heart shall be accomplished and your bright glory shall spread throughout the world,

Getting down from the boat sita and Rama stood on the sands of the Ganga along with Guha and Laxmana, the ferryman too got down and fell prostrate before Lord, Lord felt uncomfortable at the thought that he had given nothing to Ferry man, Sita could read the mind of her beloved Lord, took off her jewelled ring with a cheerful heart, gracious lord said please take your toll,

Bur ferry man clasped his feet in great distress_

Whatever i not already received my lord, i worked for my livelihood for a long tome, it is only today that god has given me an adequate and handsome return,

By Your Grace my lord, i Want nothing now, while returning, whatever you bestow on me, i shall thankfully accept that boon,

Sri Rama dismissed sumantra against the later's will immediately afterwards, he called for a boat but ferryman would not bring it, Said i Know the secret of your lotus feet which reansforms the stone to a beautiful woman,

I shall be robed of every mean if something happens to my boat, i maintain my family through this alone, i know no other trade-therefore My Lord- you must cross the river, command me to lave your lotus feet,

I will let you abode the boat only when i have bathed your lotus feet-i seek no toll from you, i swear by you, on hearing these words of ferry man, mysterious though imbued with love, Lord said-do that which may prevent the loss of your boat,-bring water at once, and lave my feet,

Having laved the Lord's feet and drunk of the water in which they had immersed along with the other members of his family, he thereby transported the souls of his deceased forbears across the ocean of metempsychosis and then gladly too the lord across the Ganga,

Reasoning thus be not angry nor blame anyone in vein, everyone is slumbering in the night of delusion, while asleep one sees varying dreams, in the night of mundane existence mystics alone who keep awake, they too are in the quest of highest truth and remains aloof from the world,

They started religious observances and fasts for ensuing Rama, There Sri Rama along with Sita laxmana and sumanatra arrived at Srngverapura, beholding the celestial stream Ganga, Sri Rama gazed on the waves of Sri Ganga, took plunge in the river and eradicate the fatigue of journey,

Sri Rama proceed ahead after reverence to Sri Ganga, Nishada- a childhood friend of sri Rama hear the news and reach at Lord to welcome Lord in his state, Nishada served sri Rama the delicious truth as oblations and tried all to convince Rama by all means available with,

Laxmana enjoin Nishada and tries to pacify his agony that generated through relates of Sri Rama's exile, Nishada was distressed to see Sri Rama and Sita sleeping on the ground,

Leaving the children and aged people in their homes all the citizens accompanied sri Rama, Sri Rama made first day's halt on the bank of the Tamasa, at night Sri Rama addressed minister in endearing terms, father drive the chariot in such a way as to mix the tracks, by no other means can our object be accomplished,

Take care of you, my clever citizens, to see that none of the mothers is smitten with the pangs of separation from me, in this way sri Rama consoled all and cheerfully bowed his head at the lotus feet of his preceptor,

Sri Rama sailed forth, evil oman appeared in Lanka and Ayodhya was plunged in grief, Rama has left for the woods,

To a woman bereft of her husband they are far more tormenting than the scorching Sun,

Life riches house, land, city and the kingdom, all these are mere accoutrements of woe to woman bereft of her Lord,

O Lord of my life, nothing in this world is delightful to me, as the body without soul, river without water, even so, my lord, is a woman without her husband, in your company-i shall be happy in everyway so long as i behold your countenance resembling the cloudless moon of an autumnal night,

The forest is rugged and most dreadful, tracks are hard and your lotus like feet are delicate while the path is tough, mountains, rivers,rivulets, caves and chasm are unfathomable that terrible to look at,

The ground alone will be your couch, shelter of tree alone will be there to rest upon, bulbs fruits and roots will be available for food, ad that too according to season and occasion,

man eating demons roams in the wood by assuming varying forms, hardship of the forest is beyond words, pondering this in your heart stay at home, he who doesn't reverently follow the advice of a disinterested friend, preceptor and master has to repent that harms,

Sri Rama comforted her by addressing tender and wise words to her, then stared admonishing Sita by disclosing to her the advantage and disadvantage of forest life,

Though he hesitated in speaking to her in presence of his Mother, realized within self the emergency of the situation, Said---Listen to advice, O Princes and do not misunderstand me,

 If you wish well of me and yourself, please accept my suggestion, and stay at home, render service to your mother in law and you will be benefited in everyway,

I tell you sincerely for my mother sake, O charming lady, that i leave you here, here you will easily obtain the reward of virtue, as for myself listen, O fair and sensible lady, i will soon return after redeeming my father's word,

O Lord,How can a female Cakora bird, who loves yo feed on the nectar born of rays of the moon, bear to fix her gaze on the Sun,
