Saryu river flooded the banks of dispassion and wisdom

The gods rejoiced to hear Bharata's speech and acclaimed him with words well done, The people of Ayodhya felt puzzled, ascetics and foresters were delighted,

Rama kept mum, observing his silence, the whole assembly felt perturbed, a messenger came with a message that King Janaka had arrived, Sage Vashista said to Rama and made obeisance, The King and Queen of Mithila were in dare grief to know about King Dasarath, also distressed to see the Sita in an attire of hermit, 

Realizing the condition, the king recollected himself and dispatched spies to Ayodhya to know the factual truth, they went and came back at once with the required information, The King summoned his warriors and sent them to Ayodhya to safeguard the palaces,

Guru Vashista reaffirmed that Rama is our king despite unwanted episodes,  there Saryu river flooded the banks of dispassion and wisdom and joined the course of tributaries and rivulets in the form of sorrowful utterances,

Said Bharata, and the third alternative could be that we three brothers remain in the forest while Sita and your self may return to Ayodhya,

I am an unfathomable ocean of faults, out of affection for me praise me as a noble soul, Now I submit to that preposition which will spare my lord an awkward situation,

Swearing by my lord's feet that I tell you in good faith that this is the only way to ensure the happiness of the world, Each one of us will carry out the orders that the Lord may be pleased to give with a cheerful heart and without reserve and all injustice and imbroglio will end,

A servant will gain only if he serves his master renouncing his all personal comfort and greed, If my lord returns to Ayodhya everyone will be a gainer, as if we obey your orders, we shall gain in millions of ways, 

Obedience to you constitutes the highest gain both materially and spiritually, I have brought with me duly arranged, all the requisites for the coronation ceremony, kindly have it brought unto use if it so pleases you,

Send me into exile with younger brother Shatrughan and let everyone feel secure under your protection, or else send the Laksman and Shatrughan and Laxman back and let me accompany you, My Lord,

Now my master is pleased and my Guru is pleased the torment created by my foul mind is over now, was obsessed with Imaginary fears and my anxiety had no foundation,  it is no fault of Sun if anyone mistakes the quarter, 

My own ill luck and mother's perversity, the odd ways of providence, and the cruelty of fate, all conspired with the avowed object of ruining me, but you come to rescue by redeeming your vow, by protecting your devotees,

My Lord, You are the same disposition as the tree of paradise it is neither for nor against anyone, Should anyone approach the tree of paradise recognizing it as such, its very shade relives all anxiety, and devotees obtain desired objects,

With a cheerful heart and shaking off all scruples tell me what to do, I will accomplish it this very day, The assembly rejoiced to hear these words of Sri Rama. who was ever true to his word,

The king of celestials Indra and the host of gods trembled with fear and felt perpetuated by the thought that their whole scheme was going to fail, were completely at a loss what to do, 

Celebrated with one another and whispered to one another, the god's interest now lies at Bharata's hands with no other remedy but to divert his mind, When preceptor gods heard god's intention, and pacified the mind of Bharat that aligned to the lotus feet of Rama, Bharat's feet is the root of  all choice blessings in the world, and warn gods about any misappropriation unto subject,

There Bharata now felt in his heart that the whole responsibility rested on his shoulders, therefore entertained in his mind repositions of innumerable kinds, after deliberation he came to a conclusion, that his welfare consisted in obeying Rama, and has thereby shown not a little kindness and love,

Pray do not indulge in wrong hypotheses about yourself for nothing, Bird and beast are close to hermits while they run away at the sight of a hunter who torments them, even beasts and birds can distinguish between a friend and foe, to say nothing of the human, which is a storehouse of virtue and knowledge,

I know you all well, but what am I to do, is a great perplexity in my mind, The king kept the words and abandoned me, giving up his life in order to keep his vow if I proceed to violate his word, my scruple on your account is even greater, on top of it my preceptor has given his command to me, in any case I am prepared to do precisely what you suggest,

On hearing the excellent and most impassioned speech of Bharata full of agony and love, humanity and prudence, everybody was plunged into sorrow and the assemble became sad, 

The enlightened sages comforted Bharata by narrating old legends of various kinds, Rama spoke words that meet and proper, You feel humiliated in spirit for nothing, dear brother, know that destiny of soul  lies in the hands of god,

To my mind, men of holy reputation in all the three-sphere of creation and belonging to the past, present, and future are pygmies before you, dear Bharata, he who attributes malevolence to you even in his heart will ruined in this world as well as next, 

As for Mother Kaikayi, they alone blame her, who have waited neither on the guru nor on the assemblage of holy men,

 Jai Sri Ram,

In this concourse of holy men, in the presence of my preceptor and master, and in this holy place I speak in good faith, whether there is any love in my heart or it is all simulation and whether what I say is true or false is known to the sage as well as to the lord of Raghu,

The whole world will bear witness on the one hand, to the king having died as a result of his uncompromising love, and to my mother's evil intent, on the other,

The queen mothers are in distress that one cannot bear to look at them, while the men and women of the city are burning with deep agony, I have heard and realized that I am the root of all trouble and have endured all suffering, To crown all when I heard that clad in hermit's robes and accompanied by Laxman and Sita, Rama proceed to the woods on foot, May God Sankara be my witness, I survive even that blow, 

 Now I have seen all with my eyes, and so long as I live my stupid soul will subject me to all kinds of suffering, on whom else, then, should providence inflict severe pain if not on the son of Kaikayi,

Sri Krishna is a light of the philosophy of life, his truth is a cause to meet the truth of self for devotees and aspirants, indeed a tangible eternal strength in the struggle to sustain life with dignity,

Radha was the soul of Krishna, both were the conjunct of disinterested love, love that unalloyed in truth with eternity, and the self that supports each other without any external add,

To entertain the thought that my mother is wicked while I am virtuous and upright is itself tantamount to a million evil practices, Can an ear of the kodo plant yield good rice and can a dark bivalve produce a pearl, 

Not a tinge of blame attaches to anyone even in a dream, My ill luck is unfathomable like the ocean, In vain did I  torment my mother by taunting her without estimating the consequences of my own sins, I have mentally surveyed all possible avenues but feel frustrated, there is only one hope of my salvation, your holiness is my preceptor while Sita and Rama are my masters, for this I presume that all will be well in the end,

Hearing the words of Bharata and seeing his love for Rama, the sage, and the whole assembly were delighted and the sage wit stood on its brink like a boat that longed to cross it, Sage was pleased with Bharata and reached Rama, 

Rama made obeisance to Sage and offered him a seat of honor, With Sage's permission all sat down, and then Sage spoke in truth about the occasion, Listen, Rama, listen to Bharat's humble submission, then think over it again, 

Then Sage said to Bharata, Shaking off all scruple, my dear child, tell your dear brother, who is an ocean of kindness, what is there in your heart, 

Bharata realized that the whole responsibility had been thrown on him to relate what the turmoils of his heart, unable to speak, becoming thoughtful at the moment, thus spoke, I know the disposition of my master, who is never angry even with an offender, to me he is peculiarly kind and affectionate, I have never seen him frown even in play, even from my infancy I never left his company and at no time did he damp my spirit, have realized in my heart the benevolent ways of my lord, who would have me win a game even though I had lost it,

The Bharata and Shatrughan rejoiced to hear agreeable words, filled with excessive joy, though queen mothers however wept being their joy and sorrow matched each other,

Said the Bharata, I will stay all my life in the forest and conceive no greater happiness than this, 

Rama and Sita have access to all hearts, while you are omnipresent and wise, if what you say is true, then redeem your words,

In what way Lord can be prevailed upon to return to Ayodhya, ponder and tell me, so that we may adopt some device, 

Everyone listened to the revered Sage, but no one answered, Bharat bowed his head and with joined palms began with words of praise for the sage, as for yourself, you thrawered the course of providence, no one can alter what you have resolved upon, 

Yet you ask my advice of at this junction, all this is my misfortune, the guru's heart overflows with love when he heard these affectionate words,

Bharata was lost in himself with a query of how Rama's incarnation be accomplished, How I hit upon the cause to secure it, 

Fallen in evil days as providence was against me, failed to decide on anyone's advice, and spent the whole night in speculation, 

At daybreak, bathed and bowed to the Lord and sat down beside him, when sent by the sage, an assembly of seniors set to invoke the cause,

Vashishsta Spoke in truth on the occasion that Rama is true to his words and legend of morality, obedient to the command of preceptors and parents, crusher of the army of the wicked and friend of gods, and the highest object of life if we carry out Rama's orders and respect his wishes, it will be well of us,

Bharata had no sleep by night nor appetite by day, perturbed as he was by pious anxiety, even as a fish sunk in a shallow marsh is worried by a paucity of water,

Bearing this in mind shake off all scruples and recognize our affection show your grace to us, and oblige us to accept fruits, grass, and shoots, You have come to this forest as our welcome guest, 

All began to extol the good fortune of the foresters and address them in terms of endearment,

Day after day all the people roamed through every quarter of the forest in great delight, the men and women of the city remained deeply immersed in love, and the day passed like the moment for them,

It is no wonder, Rama, that you should speak like this, Home of compassion you are, but aggrieved as the people are, let them derive solace by enjoying your sight for a couple of days, 

At the words of Rama, the assembly trembled as fear like a ship tossed on the ocean, however auspicious words of Guru turned in favor,

Thrice in the day they all bathed in the holy Payasvini, the very sight of which wipes out hosts of sins, ever feasting their eyes with a glimpse of Rama gladly prostrating themselves before him again and again, 

They went out to see the hill and the woods hallowed by the presence of Rama, where resigned joy of every kind, water sweet as nectar flowed from springs, soft, cool, and fragrant breezes soothed every pain of body and mind, the splendor of forest was beyond description,

Having performed his father's obsequies as prescribed in Vedas, Rama attains the truth of sanctifying self after obeying all oblations, Two days elapsed after purification, Rama affectionately said to his guru, My Lord, all the people are sore and distressed, living on roots bulbs and fruits, when I behold Bharata and Shatrughan and all my mothers, minute passes seems as an age to me, please do what is proper at this time,

After meeting Shatrughan Rama met Nishad, and with profuse love Bharata met Laxman, Laxman eagerly met brother Shatrughan, and then all greeted the host of hermits, Bharata and Shatrughan bowed their heads in lotus feet of Devi Sita, Sita blessed them, 

Grief-stricken Mothers visit Rama along with Guru and ministers, Rama first prostrates at the feet of Guru and then greets all, meets Mother Kaikayi, softens her mind by guileless disposition, falls at the feet, smoothens her attributing the blame to the wheel of time, destiny and providence, 

Sita came and threw herself at the feet of Guru's consort first then took the courage to approach her mother in laws, At the moment the earth was enveloped in pathos, finding mothers  in attire of window broken at heart at once, Rama was in agony of the hard truth about the departure of king to his abode,

The Moment Bharata heard the words of Guha, tears rushed to his eyes, delighted to behold Rama's footprints as a pauper has stumbled on a philosopher's stone, 

Placing the dust on his feet he carries on, overpowered by Bharata's love Guha loses the way, and Celestials help out of proportion to make it easy for them,

Bharata reached and Saw Laxman standing before the lord and affectionately addressing the queries, 

Midst of a charming ring of hermits Sita and Ram shone forth like devotion, incarnated as it were a circle of wisdom, Laxman recognized that Bharata was making obeisance to Rama, bowing his head on the ground he said Lovingly, Bharata is making obeisance to you Lord, overwhelmed with emotion Rama started up as soon as he heard, his robe laying on one side and quiver and bow on other, forcibly Rama lifted Bharata and clasped him to his bosom, all witnessed as how ram lost his all conscious in love with Bharata,

Beholding the beauty of Rama heart of Bharata overflowed with love and emotions, Nishada pointed out the location of the hermitage of Rama surrounded by Jambu that black plum, mango, and Tamala, Paakar and other noble fig trees, Charming basil shrubs that were planted by Sita and an alter under the thick banyan tree seated whereupon Sita and Rama listen to a crowd of hermits every day about the stories of Vedas puranas and Agmas,

A voice from heaven addressed Laxman, your might is known to all, Laxman abashed, but before doing anything one must judge whether it is right or wrong, Laxman abashed to listen, 

Rama and Sita addressed politely in a kind manner, the intoxication of kingly power is worst of all, as for Bharata I tell you, Laxman, in the whole creation of God I have never seen or heard of anyone so good as Bharata,

Fools given to the pleasure of senses are seized with infatuation on attaining power and reveal their true nature,

Now Bharata has attained the power, finding the situation that you are alone in the forest may have plotted evil design to secure sovereignty once and for all, 

If he had no wily intention why bring chariots and warriors why should blame Bharata for nothing when we know that anyone in the world would be driven mad on attaining sovereignty,

Moon commits adultery with the wife of Guru,  Nahusa mounted a palanquin by Brahmans, King Sahastrabahau, Indra and a lot more in the past have done a lot in this format, I am known throughout the world as a servant of Rama then how he can put with such insult, what is so low as the dust on a road but if you were to kick it up it should rise to your head,

Being all overwhelmed by love for Sri Rama had covered four miles by the time of sunset, perceiving a suitable site halted there,

There Rama was awake while it was dark, Sita saw a dream that very night as if Bharata had come and his body tormented by separation, all who accompanied were said, missable and afflicted, mother-inlaws changed in appearance, and this brought tears in the eyes of Rama,

Rama took a bath, worshiped Shiva paid respect to holy men, after that, he sat down gazing to the north, and stood up when saw birds flying in panic, 

Messenger came and told him all the news, a thrill ran through his body, said to himself what could be the reason for Bharata's arrival, Laxman said to Rama, my master, you are loving by nature and guileless of heart, trust everyone,

At the sight of Bharata the good fortune of the people by the roadsides manifested as though by the will of providence Prayag had been brought within easy reach of the people,

Wherever he happened to see  holy waters he bathed in them, and whenever caught sight of a hermitage or temple he made obeisance to it,  

Whenever wherever an anchorite or  religious student, a recluse or a hermit, he would salute him reverently, enquire about the route followed by Rama, and very politely enquire about the story of Rama's forest life,

Halting the day in a suitable place resumed his journey the next day morning, now auspicious omens occurred to everyone, including happy throbbing on limbs,

Bharata is proceeding to persuade the chief of Raghu's line to return, who can equal Bharata today,

Bharata's brotherly affection and conduct dispel the woes and evil of those who talk or hear of them,

In this way, Bharata went on his way, arrived on the bank of Yamuna, 

At the sight of the lovely stream plunged into the ocean of grief on account of separation from Rama, 

That day they all halted on the bank of the Yamuna, at daybreak they crossed the river, and everyone was pleased,

After performing ablutions and bowing head to the river they resumed their journey to Rama and lovingly saluted every place where Sri Rama had either encamped or rested awhile,

Yet according as one possesses the heart or an unbeliever, appears to be impartial or hostile in dealing, though devoid of attributes, unattached, free from pride and ever unchanged but yields to the love of his devotees, bearing this in mind, give up perversity and cherish ideal love for Bharata,

And the story is well known to the world as well as to Vedas, Sage Durvasa knows this glorious trait of Rama, never harbor your mind eben the thoughts of frustrating the purpose of a devotee of Rama, for the same will bring infamy to this world, sorrow in the next, and a sense of woes in your day to day life,

The cloud afforded him shade all along and a delightful and excellent breeze kept blowing, 

Sri Rama is scrupulous by nature and is won by love, while Bharata is an ocean of affection, finding out some stratagem let us use it as a remedial measure,

Hearing the words of the preceptor of the gods smiled and realized that though endowed with a thousand eyes, Indra was really blind, and lacked discernment, said, if anyone practices deception on a devotee of Sri Rama, it recoils on the artificer himself,

By the dint of his penance, the sage produced wealth that stonished the Brahma himself, Bharata beheld the sage's power,

The realms of all the rulers of the spheres looked small in his eyes, luxuries were more than one could describe, grooves and gardens manifest at once with celestial beauty, 

Celestial cows and the tree of paradise were a common reality of the hermitage, cool, fragrant, and gentle breeze oblige the occasion, 

Unique hospitality shown by the sage by the dint of his yogic power, it was a dawn of the day in truth with light eternal, Bharata and his party takes a holy dip in Triveni,  bowed their head to the sage, and take the route to Sri Ram,

After comforting Bharata, Sage said, be my beloved guest and deign to accept the bulb, fruit, and flowers that we may offer you, 

Bharata bowed his head with words, very well,

Most gladly proceed to take charge of their stay with respective duties,

Supernatural power bowed to the sage to serve on behalf of and deemed themselves highly favored,

Your Glory is a new type of spotless moon as it were, while devotees are like so many water lilies that open only to the moonlight,

It shall never set, ever placed over the horizon, never wane, shall ever wax in heavens, delight everyone and be the source to reach Rama for ages, 

It is the embodiment of the nectar of love, you have made it so easy to access, it is alike celestial Ganga, 

Experiencing a thrill of joy over his body, with his heart full of Sita and Rama, his wet eyes made obeisance to the conclave of sages, Bharata expressed his agony in many forms, lamented like anything, Said the sage, dear child, grieve not much, all your woes will disappear the moment you behold Sri Rama's feet,

Said the sage, Baharat your wealth, and life, vital breath, who is then, so highly blessed as you, 

I tell you Bharata, there is no one as dear to Rama as you, Rama, Laxman, and Sita most fondly praised you the whole night, 

I came to know the secret only when they were bathing at Prayag, they would feel overwhelmed with love for you, in my opinion, you are the incarnation of love for Rama,

What, your mind constitutes a slur on you is a lesson to us all, the present occasion has proved to elixir in the form of devotion of Rama,

Bharata, be not distressed at heart

 Jai Sri Ram,

Said the Sage, Bharata, be not distressed at heart by the thought of what your mother has done, what ordained in the truth of fate manifest with time, 

Nobody will approve of it even if I said so, for the wise recognize the worldly opinion as well as the judgment of the Vedas, 

By singing your unsullied glory, however, the world and the Vedas both will be exalted, however, in fact, fate speaks aloud than acts, 

But for you have done now is excellent. your standpoint is quite justified, for devotion to Sri Rama's feet is the root of all choice blessings in the world,

A thrill Ran to the Bharata's body and his soul rejoiced to hear the agreeable words of the Treveni, 

The inhabitants of Prayag were transported with joy, they said to each other that Bharata's amiability and affection are artless and genuine, 

They all reach to the great sage Bharadwaja, Sage saw Bharata falling prostrate before him and looked upon him as his own good luck personified, 

Running and uplifting him the sage clasped him to his bosom, Bharata sat down with his head bent low, feeling perpetuated at the thought that the sage might ask him all about, seeing the state of Bharata Sage said to him, Listen Bharata I Have heard everything but we have no control over the doing fate,

Love for Sita and Rama grows day by day in the heart of Bharata irrespective of his unfathomable agony, 

In response to the Bharata prayer, there came a sweet and benedictory utterance from the midst of TRIVENI, 

Dear Bharata, you are pious in every way, and your love for Sri Rama is unbounded, 

In vain you harbor depressing thoughts in your mind, there is no one so dear to Rama as you are,

BIRTH AFTER BIRTH

 Jai Sri Ram,

After ascertaining that all had finished their ablations, Bharata repaired to the confluence of Ganga Yamuna and Saraswati, and did homage to it, 

He bathed in the particolored water with due ceremony and honored the Brahmans bestowing gifts on them, 

As he sees the dark and white waves Bharata felt a thrill of joy over his body and he joined the palms in prayer, 

Said the Bharata, you are the bestower of all desired objects, O king of Sacred Places, your glory is known to the Vedas and manifested throughout the world, abandoning the course of conduct prescribed for a Ksatriya I BEG ALMS OF YOU, I have no liking for wealth nor for religious merits nor for sensuous enjoyment nor for perpetual calms, BIRTH AFTER BIRTH LET ME HAVE DEVOTION TO THE FEET OF SRI RAMA,

Having finished the morning duties Bharata adored his mother's feet and bowed to the Guru, sending a party of Nishadas  ahead started the whole host, 

All started their journey toward Rama, seeing the behavior of Bharata and hearing his polite words all servants melted out a feeling of self-disparagement,   

Bharata entered the limits of Prayag in the afternoon, overflowing with love he cried Rama, Sita, Rama-Sita, even as he went, 

The blisters on the soles of his feet glistered like dew drops on a lotus bud, the whole company was grieved to hear that Bharata had made the day's march on feet,

Cruel indeed are the doings

 Jai Sri Ram, 

Cruel indeed are the doings of adverse fate, which drove Mother Kaikeyi mad, the lord reverently praised you on that night, You are supremely dear to Rama as you are,

I declare this an oath, therefore be assured that all will be well in the end, and take a course of your heart, 

Sri Rama knows the heart of all, he is an embodiment of tenderness, affection, and compassion, considering this and summoning courage in your heart, please go and take rest, Said friend to Bharata, 

Bharata took comfort in the words of his friend and proceeded towards his lodgings with his thoughts directed toward the lotus feet of Rama,

In this way after taking a dip into the Ganga and receiving commands from his Guru, on learning that all his mothers had finished their bath he had the tents shifted, 

The people took up their lodgings at different places, Bharat Made inquiries about all, and after worshipping gods and taking leave they moved on, 

Bharata asked people to show him the place where Rama resorted while passing by, there he got to where Rama spent the night, Rama rested under the holy Ashok tree,  

With great affection and reverence Bharata prostrated himself there,

When Bharata behold Sri Shrangverpura, all his limbs were overpowered with emotion, 

It appeared as if love has taken a living form, He saw the celestial stream, Ganga, which purifies the whole world, and made his obeisances to the Ghat where Sri Rama had bathed, 

Taking a holy dip into the River and with joined palms begged for abundant love for the lotus feet of Rama,

Said Bharata, mother divine, your sands are delightful to all and the very cow of plenty to your devotees, I ask you just one boon that spontaneous love for the lotus feet of Rama,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Ancient scriptures enunciated multiple facets of the reality of the Sri Ekadasi cult that helps men to invest and reinvest self in truth with cause eternal, and Sri Ekadasi is more an eternal day to facilitate this truth,

A day that showers the elixir to help the spirit to recover from the trauma of being a party to mundane, 

Not only Vishnu but the Goddess of prosperity Laxmi too visit the heart of devotees to impart wealth of both words, and it needs a sanctified heart to host them respectfully,

Hence a lot of sanctifying rituals are performed to make it feasible unto the truth of cause, Sri Ekadasi is a Parv that could be a meaningful milestone for Embodied soul to alter its destiny to the truth of final beatitude,

Having thus meet Rama's friend, Bharata lovingly enquired about his health, welfare, and happiness, 

Seeing Bharata's amiability and affection Nishad forget all about himself, his bashfulness, love, and soul's delight grew new, stood static gazing at Bharata, recollecting himself and again bowed at Bharata's feet, 

Said Nishad, I have accounted for myself blessed for all time, and now by your supreme grace my welfare is assured, 

Remembering my doings and my descent on one hand and realizing the lord's greatness on the other, he who does not devote to Sri Rama's feet has been befooled in this world by providence,

Nishada prostrate

 Jai Sri Ram, 

When Bharata saw Nishada prostrate on the ground,

He lifted him and pressed him to his bosom, felt as if he had met with Laxman,

Embarrassed him with great affection, the body of Nishad thrilling all over with joy,

It is the conjunction of Karma nasa river with the holy Ganga, in between them truth is Rama, the eternal bridge that connects,

Sai River

 Jai Sri Ram,

Halting at the Sai River,

The river that rises midway between Gomati and The Ganga,

And falls into the former ten miles below the city of Jaunpur, 

They all resumed their journey at daybreak, and they reached Sri Shangeverpur, Nishad heard and misunderstood about Bharata with the army, takes the lead for a counter-offensive in favor of Ram, then a good omen reveal the truth of Bharata and Nishada submit himself along with his people to serve Bharta in their capacity,

I adjure you to my life

Leaving the city in the charge of faithful servants, respectfully sending the whole party ahead, Bharata and Shatrughan started at last of all, 

Seized with a longing for the sight of Rama, people headed with the same zeal as elephants rush in pursuit of water,

 Bharat was going bare feet, intercepted by Kaushalaya, who said, I adjure you to my life to mount the chariot,

They halted first at the bank of the Tamsa river and made next halt at Gomati, somehow living on fruits and roots, renouncing luxuries observed fasts for the sake of Rama,

Said Bharata, though I am born of a wicked mother and a rogue that ever guilty yet confident of Rama that he will never forsake me knowing me to be his own,

All praise the words of Bharata, and said, you have thought out a good plan, by all means, 

Let us proceed to the woods where Rama is, you have held out a helping hand to us all while we were being drowned in an ocean of grief,

Everyone felt great joy, took leave and proceeded to homes and began to prepare for the journey, nobody wants to remain behind, knowing the distress of their mothers, Bharta ordered palanquins to get ready and sedan chairs to be equipped,

It is through infatuation that you expect happiness from the reign of a wretch like me, 

Who is Keikei's son, of perverted intellect, hostile to Rama and lost to shame,

An effect is more formidable and harder than its cause, of which it was made, and iron than the rock from which it is quarried, 

Bowing my head to all I lay open my terrible distress before you, unless I behold Sri Rama's feet the agony of my soul shall not go,
