Army of Lord Rama, marching forth with, who could adequately describe the army as it marched with countless monkeys and bears Roaring,

More than strange yet truth, every one moving ahead with no weapon other than their sharp claws, they carries rocks and trees that they uprooted on the way and marched now in the air and then on land, for they have unhampered motion everywhere,

Indeed they bear and monkeys but their roar was more than that of lion to disrupt the pace around,


The elephants guarding the eight cardinal points shock and trumpeted and army of lord was moving with speed cannot be imagine,

Sugriva, the lord of monkeys quickly summoned the commanders of the various troops and they presented themselves in multitudes,

The troops of the monkeys and bears, though varying in colors, were all unequal in strength,

The mighty Bears and the monkeys bowed their at the lotus feet of lord and roared like anything before depart,

Sri Rama Surveyed the whole monkey host and cast on them his gracious lotus like eyes, embodied by his all sailed forth along with Rama,

issue orders to the monkeys at once, the gods who were witnessing the spectacle rained down flowers in profusion and then gladly withdraw from the lower air to their own celestial spheres,

Then Lord Rama asked Sri Hanuman, how could you burn Ravana's stronghold of lanka, most impregnable fortress,

when Sri Hanuman found Lord pleased, he replied in words altogether free from pride, a monkey's greatest valor lies in his skipping from one bough to another, that i should have been able to leap across the ocean, burn the gold city, kill the demons host and lay waist the ashoka grove was all due to your might, no credit  my lord, is due to me for the same,

My Lord, O befriender of the distressed, reliever of the supplicant's agony- iam devoted to your feet in thoughts words and deeds, yet for what offence, my lord have you forsaken me, I do admit one fault of mine that my life did not depart the moment i was separated from you,

However this is fault of my eyes which forcibly prevent my life from escaping that to have glimpse of your lotus feet for once, the agony of separation from you is like a fire, my sighs fan it as gust of wind and in between stands my body like a heap of cotton, which would have been consumed in an instant, rain is flood tears for me that is why body fails to catch the fire of dissolution

Sri Sita's distress is so great and you are compassionate to the afflicted that it is better not to describe it,

On arrival on this side, all team members of sri hanuman delighted to see him and felt as if they had been birn anew,

Sri Hanuman wore a cheerful countenance and his shone with brilliance which left no doubt in their mind and felt as he had executed lord Rama's commision,

They then gladly proceeded to see the lord, asking and telling the latest events, on way entered in garden of sugreeva with pace and joy which reflects the success all the way,

Guards of the garden informed this to Sugreeva that crown prince laying waste the royal garden makes sugreeva rejoiced to hear; for concluded that the monkeys must have returned after accomplishing the lord's business,

While leaning he roared aloud with such a terrible noise the wives of demons miscarried, taking a leap across the ocean he reached the opposite shore and greeted his fellows with a shrill cry of Joy,

sri Hanuman asked sri sita, be pleased mother, to give me some token, such as the lord gave me, she thereupon unfasten the jewel on her head and give it Son hanuman, who gladly received it,

Sri Sita said to Hanuman, dear son, convey my obeisance to him with these words,

My lord is all sufficient yet recalling your vow of kindness to the afflicted, relive, O master my grievous distress-repeat to him, my son, the episode of jayanta{son of Indra]  and remind the lord might of his arrows and if lord fail to arrive within a month with not find me alive,

Demons there in city were repeatedly calling for help in dismay, O father, O mother, who will save us at this critical hour of time, 

one said, he is not a monkey but some god in the form of monkey,

such is the result of despising a noble soul; the city is consumed by fire as though it had no master,

In the twinkling of an eye Hanuman burnt down the whole city barring the solitary house of Vibhishana, Hanuman went unscathed because he was the messenger of him who created fire himself, he burnt the whole lanka from one end to the other and then leapt into the ocean,

Lot of butter oil applied on cotton which wrapped tail of sri Hanuman, it was a playful gesture for sir Hanuman , citizen thronged to see the fun, with beating drums and clapping of hands they took Sir hanuman around the city then set fire on his tail,

Sri Hanuman saw the fire blazing; he immediately assumed an utterly diminutive size and slipping out bounds sprang to the attics of the gold palace, to the dismay of the demonesses

Ravana accepted it and said all right, the monkey may be sent back mutilated, a monkey is very fond of his tail, i tell you this secret, therefore, swathe his tail with rags soaked in oil and then set to fire,

when the tailless monkey will go back, will bring his master along with and i shall have an opportunity of seeing his might,

Sri Hanuman is now in the court of Ravana but totally fearless the perfect of true warrior, sri Hanuman visualized the super glory of Ravana and his wisdom-even gods and regents of the quarters stood meek with joined palms,

All watching the movement of his eyebrows in great dismay sri Hanuman was not disturbed in any way at the sight of his might as appears to him,

Many demons were leaving their body under the weight of limbs of Sri Hanuman, having finished them Sri Hanuman closed with meghanada,

Many a times meghanath found it difficult to face sri hanuman and even faint for a while and again he rose up and restored to may delusive device but sri Hanuman was not to be Vanquished,

Meghanada ultimately used his most powerful mystic power known in the name of brahmastra, sri Hanuman was totally beyond the reach of this weapon yet he respect for the cause to deliver message of Lord rama to Ravana,

Ravana flew into a rage when he heard the death of his Son and sent the mighty meghanada and instruct him not to kill that monkey but bind and bring him along with,

Ravana said, let us know the truth of that monkey, see him and ascertain wherefrom he comes,

Meghanada, the most loving son of Ravana, limit of might and conqueror of even indra, master of mystic tricks,

When sri Hanuman saw this fierce warrior rushed forward to face him, he tore up the trees of huge size and smashed it at the vehicle of Meghanada, heaving finish them off, he made meghanada to realize his truth and might,

Sri sita, seeing Sri Hanuman perfect in strength and wit, said-Go My son and enjoy the luscious fruits with your heart fixed on Lotus feet of Sri Rama,

Sri Hanuman bowing his head went forth and entered the groove and having eaten the fruits he began to break the trees down signalling challenge to the might of guards on duty to give message to Ravana,

As demons tries to restrict Sri Hanuman he killed many mighty warriors and many cries for help,

Message was given to Ravana, who send Numbers of mighty warriors along with aksh-kumara his son, sri Hanuman killed Askhya and dispersed all, some he slew some he crushed and some he seized and pounded with dust and some who made an escape anyhow cried, said to ravana that the monkey is too strong for us,

And with joined palms addressed her thus, i have now accomplished all that i had to accomplish, my mother, for your blessings everyone knows that is unfailing,

Sri Hanuman said that Mother, im feeling Hungry at the sight of these trees laden with delicious fruits, sri Sita said, i tell you, my son, this groove is guarded by most valiant and mighty demons, hanuman said-mother, i am not afraid of them, only if i have your hearty approval,

And sage narada and other sages will glorify him in three spheres of the creation,

Sri Sita said, my son-all monkeys are alike you whereas the demons are mighty and great warrior, i have my doubts unto truth-on hearing this Sri Hanuman revealed his natural form, Colossal as a mountain of Gold, terrible beyond measure in battle, possessing great might and full of velour-Sri Sita now take comfort at heart,

Fresh and tender leaves of the tree looks like tongues of fire-night appears as night of dissolution, the moon scorches like Sun, beds of lotus are alike spears planted while rain clouds pour boiling oil as it were, friends appear as foe, fragrant breeze appears as breath of serpent-once agony is assuaged to some extent even by speaking so but to whom shall i speak and who will understand my inner pains,

The reality about my love that binds you and me is known to my soul alone, which ever abides with you and know this to be the essence of my love,

Please do not feel vexed at heart, mother, Sri Rama loves you twice as much as you love him, mother compose yourself and hear the message of Lord Rama,

The moment praise of Lord Rama reached Sri Sita's ear Her grief escape like anything, it rejuvenate her at soul as Sri hanuman narrates all the story that relates to sri Ram,

Sri Sita said that wherefore does who has told this tale, which is nectar to my ear-not reveal,

Thereupon Sri Hanuman drew near to her, while Sri Sita sat facing back towards Hanuman-full of amazement,

Then Sri Hanuman Said, Mother i solemnly swear by the all merciful lord Rama that i am his messenger  this ring has been brought my me as Sri Rama Gave it to me as a token for you, sri Sita asked tell me what brought about fellowship between man and a monkey,

Sri Hanuman was distressed to see sita in her separation from her Lord, taking though within self he drooped down the signet ring as though the Ashoka tree had thrown a spark in response to the prayer of Sita, she sprang up with joy and immediately took it in her hand,

Now she saw the charming ring with name of lord Rama most beautifully engraved on that,

She looked at it with wonder and was agitated at heart with mixed feeling that how and who can conquer the invincible Lord and such a divine Ring cannot be prepared through Maya,

As Sri sita was indulged in fancies of various kinds, sri hanuman spoke in honeyed accents and began to recount the praise of Lord Rama,

Ashoka tree

Trijata said to Sri Sita, O Noble lady, no fire can be had at this time and brief Sitat on the very positive notes        
and left for her residence,

Sri Sita said to herself that heaven itself has turned hostile to me, as there is no fire to cure my agonies yet sparks of fire at sky is visible in the form of stars,

The Moon, through all fire, refuses to rain sparks, as if conscious of my wretchedness,

Sri sita is recalling Ashoka tree with all humble prayer that please take away my sorrows, acts on the truth of your name, your fresh and tender leaves bear the color of flames supplying fire to me against the truth of your name therefore supply fire in direct mode to end my agonies and the moment seems like an age to Sri Hanuman,

Sri Sita anxiously thought within herself -at the end of a long month this vile monster will slay me,

With joined palm Sri Sita said to trijata, Mother-you alone is my companion in this time of adversity therefore guide me some mean whereby i enabled to cast this body;for this desolation, which is so hard to bear, can no longer be endure,

Bring some wood and put up a pyre and my mother please set fire to it thus prove my love for my lord, who will stand by the sharp words of ravana that only pierce the ear but pian deep till soul,

On hearing all this words Trijata clasped Sri sita's feet and comforted her by recounting the majesty, might and glory of Lord Rama,

Sri Trijata told to demonesses that in her dream she had seen a monkey visited the lanka and burnt it badly and killed demon host,

Ravana riding on the donkey naked with heads shorn and with chopped arms indeed a bad oman , the sin of fall,

Ravana was heading towards south the indicator of death and bad sins rise all-together,

She had seen that Vibhishana is crowned as king  of Lanka, Sri Rama's victory was proclaimed throughout the city and i loudly proclaim it will come true  in few days hence, then all demonesses feared and bow head in the lotus feet of sita and disappeared from the scene,

Ravana summoned all the demonesses poster around and instruct them to intimidate sita all the way, if she does not accept my advice, i will beheaded her,

Ravana returned to his palace while the host of fiendessess there assumed various form and intimidated Sita,

Thereupon reached Sri Trijita who nature lover of lotus feet of Sri rama and most trusted and dedicated servant there to serve the Sri sita as her own daughter,

Sri Sita used to call her Mother, she Summoned all demonesses and told them her dream and exhorted them to serve the Sita and thus bless themselves,

Mandodary intervened

Ravana Said, Sita you have insulted me-i will cut your head just now if you not obey my command at once,

Sita said, my Lord's arm pr the trunk of an elephant, o monster, either that arms or your dreadful sword will have my neck,

And here this my solemn vow, O Chandrahas {sword} take away  burning anguish of my haert caused by the fire of separation from my Lord,

you possess a cool sharp and good blade, relive me of the burden of my sorrow, on hearing these words Ravana rushed forward to kill Sita but Mandodary intervened and stopped him, pacify with words of good counsel,

Sri Sita interposing a grass blade between self and the Ravana, fixed her thought unto her master said to Ravana,

O Monster, can a lotus ever expend in the glow of a fire-fly-ponder this heart, perhaps you are unaware of the might of Lord Rama and the pace of his shafts,

O wretch, you carried me off like thief  where lord was not there and none was there by my side yet you do not feel ashamed, o vile and impudent rough,

Hearing himself to a glow-worm and Sri Rama compared to the Sun and exasperated at her words, the monster drew out his sword,

Ravana tried to prevail upon her in many ways through friendly advice, allurement, threats and estrangement  said listen O Sita, beautiful wise lady i will make Mandodary and all other queens your handmaids and i swear, provide you cast your look on me once,

Vibhishana fully narrates all that to Sri Hanuman unto abode of Sri Sita and ways to reach there, the place of high end security from all the sides,

Sri hanuman take leave with joined palm from vibhishana and proceeded towards on his errand,

In very minute form Sri hanuman enters in the Asoka Groove where Sita dwelt, at heart he bow down in the lotus feet of Sita, it was too early in the morning,

 Sri Sita had been squatting away the hours of the night, emaciated in body, she wore a single braid of matted hair, repeated to herself in the name of her master,

Tell me that what merits unto birth can i claim-frivolous monkey vile all the way, so much so that if any one mention our name in early hours of the day is sure to go without food for that day, even though lord has shown grace on me,

Sir Vibhishana said, O Sir Hanuman, the great son of wind-god, how I am living here, and my plight is similar to the poor tongue, that lives midst of the teeth,

O Sir Hanuman  Will the Lord of the solar race ever show his grace to me knowing to be a master less-endowed as I am with a demoniac form, not capable of doing requisite devotion-striving for God realization but now I am confident that Lord will shower his grace on me,

when Sri Hanuman ji was reasoning within himself, younger brother of Ravana, named Vibhishna woke with chanting the name of Lord, it was amazing for Sri Hanuman to experience this in Lanka,

Sri Hanuman was delighted a heart to find a virtues soul-thought, i shall make acquaintance with him, there is no harm in meeting a saintly soul,

Having thus resolved he assumed the form of a Brahman and accosted Vibhishna  , as Vibhishna heard Sri Hanuman words he rose and come to Sri Hanuman,

Sri Vibhishna express his heart that tell me all about you, O Holy Saint, are you one of the Sri Hari's servant or you are Sri Rama himself, a loving friend of poor, who have come to bless me by your sight,

when sri Hanuman was on his job in search of sri Sita around the palace of Sri Ravana, he mysteriously found a splendid building with a temple sacred to sri Hari Vishnu standing apart,

The mansion had signs of sri Ram Bhakti on its walls around, beautiful articles engraved to mark the devotion to the lotus feet of Lord Rama,

The cluster of wonderful young Sri Tulsi plants make Sri Hanuman rejoice beyond measure, it was a wonderful experience,

Sri Hanuman is thinking of himself that lanka is a state of demons, how could a devotee of Sri Rama take up his abode here,

Sri Hanuman enters in city now again resuming a minute form invoking Sri Rama,

He ransacked every mansion and saw countless warriors here and there, then enters in the mansion of Ravana that palace was marvellous beyond words,

Sri Hanuman saw Ravana in deep sleep but did not find Sri Sita there any where, he made through serach for Sri Sita but could make it there,
