Jai Sri Ram,

ask whatever boon you will,

Jai Sri Ram,

His lotus feet, which attract the minds of sages like so many bees, were beyond description, on his left side shone his primordial energy, Sita, who is ever devoted to him, and who is a storehouse of beauty and the source of the universe,

Sita who stood the left of Rama was the same from the fragment of whose being emanate countless Laxmies, Umas, and Brahmanis, all mine of virtues, and mere play of whose brows bring cosmos into existence, on the form of Sri Hari, the ocean of beauty,

Manu and Satrupa gazed intently with unblinking eyes, that incomparable beauty they looked on with reverence and would not feel sated with it, overcome with joy they lost consciousness of their body and fell flat on the ground, clasped his feet with their hands, the gracious Lord touched their heads with his lotus hands and lifted up at once,

The compassionate lord then said, knowing that I am highly pleased with you and recognizing me as a great donor, ask whatever boon you will,

Manu then resigned the throne to his son, and departed for the forest with his wife, preeminent of all holy places is the celebrated Namisharanya, the most sacred and bestowed success on those striving for realization, multitudes of sages and adepts lived there, glad of heart kind proceed to that place, passing along the road, king and queen of resolute mind looked like the incarnation of spiritual wisdom and devotion respectively, on reaching the bank of Gomati, they bathed with delight in the limpid stream,

Adepts and enlightened sages came to see him recognizing him in the roral sage a champion of virtue, reverently look upon them to all holy and lovely spots that were scattered here and there, with emaciated bodies and clad in hermits robes they daily listened to the Puranas, devotedly repeated the twelve letter verse, the mind was fondly devoted to the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu,

They lived on vegetables, fruits, and roots and meditated on the absolute that Brahma, who by nature is truth personified, conscious, and bless combined, again they started penance for the sake of Hari, giving up roots and fruits for water alone, their heart was clamored, let us see with our eyes that supreme Lord who is without attributes, without parts and without beginning or end, who is contemplated by the exponents of the highest reality, whom Vedas describe in Negative terms, not this-not this,

Who is bliss itself, unconditioned and without companion and form a particle of whose being emanate a number of Sambhus, Viranchis, and Vishnus, even such lord is subordinate to his devotees and assumes for their sake a form suitable for sport, if the above utterances of the Vedas are true, our desire will be surely accomplished, in this way six thousand years elapsed even while they lived on water, then another seven millennia they lived on air alone,

As adept as he was in the inquiry after the ultimate principles, The said Manu ruled for a long period and followed the Lord's commandant every day, I have reached the fourth age of my life while still living as a householder, but I have not relished the pleasure of senses, said to himself, felt sorely distressed at heart that his life had been wasted without devotion to Sri Hari,

Sri Ekadasi today

Sri Ekadasi today, since the inception of men on the planet, many chapters were located in meridian with the life of a man that to help him suitable for meaningful compliance of his journey,

Among them, one legendary chapter is Sri Ekadasi, that mystic in itself but a truth that may simplify the state of self for fair compliance of the journey,

Enlightenment of path with the correct orientation of self is the subject for all, and Sri Ekadasi helps even out of bounds to make it feasible for aspirants and devotees,

It is a day of Mook{silent} Satsang, it is a day of Sri Vishnu Pad Puja, indeed a day to realize the ideal of being man, a day that helps in inspiration and advances in the spiritual endeavors of men if taken in spirit,
