steeped in love for Rama

 Jai Sri Ram, 

Sage Narada listened to the delightful Rama, a thrill ran through his body, 

Again reverently spoke to the lord, please tell the qualities of a holy saint,

Said the Rama, who is well-versed in sacred lore, hold me in subjugation, master all the six passions, sinless by nature, disinterested in their truth and cause, moderate in diet, firm in their ideal, inspired learned and united with truth, bestowing honor on others, free from pride, the embodiment of simplicity and distant from hype, prime asset they maintained is love to my lotus feet, blush to hear themselves praised but much delighted to hear others praise, friendly to all, characterized by dispassion, discretion and modesty, 

As the sage heard all about clasped the feet of the lord once more and left for his abode of Brahmma lok, blessed are they who gave up all hopes, steeped in love for Rama,

Listen, O Sage

 Jai Sri Ram.

Listen, O Sage, I tell you will all emphasis at my command that I take care of those who worship me with undivided faith, even as if a mother tends her child if an infant child runs of fire or snake, the mother rescues it by drawing it aside, 

When, however, her son has grown up she loves him no doubt, but not as before, the wise are like my grown-up sons, while humble devotees are like my infant children, a devotee depends on me, while the former, a wise man, depends on his own strength and both have to face enemies like lust and anger, 

Pondering thus the prudent adore me and never take leave of my devotion even after attaining wisdom, lust greed, anger, and pride, constitute the most powerful army of ignorance but among them all the fiercest and the most troublesome is that incarnation of Maya, called woman, 

The woman is like a verbal season of the forest of ignorance, like the hot season she dries up all the ponds and lakes of Japa, austerity and penance including religious observances, again, lust, anger, pride, and jealousy are so many frogs as it were like the rainy season woman is the only agency that gladdened them all, even so, latent desires of vicious type are like a bed of lotuses, like the middle of winter, a woman who is the source of base sensuous pleasure flourishes when the close of winter in the shape of the woman appears, for owls in the shape of sins woman is a delightful night thich with darkness, even so reason, strength, virtue and truth are so many fishes as it were, and the woman, so declare the wise like a hook to catch him, A young woman is a root of all evils, source of torments and a mine of all woes, therefore, bearing in mind all that, O good sage, i prevented your marriage,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Rama saw the most beautiful lake and took a dip into it, Feeling supremely delighted, seeing the pleasant shade of a stately tree, sat with his brother, 

All the gods pay a visit to Rama once more, having rhymed his praise back, Sage Narada too visits Rama and finds it appropriate for supplication and asks for a boon, that My lord has many names, each greater than the rest, 

Let the Name Rama surpass all other names in exterminating the whole brood of sins even as a fowler kills an entire flock of birds, May the name Rama shine as the moon and the other names as so many stars in the cloudless sky of your devotee's heart and bowed at the lord's feet, said the Rama be so it,

Seeing the Lord pleased, Narada spoke again in gentle tones, listen, Rama, when I wanted to marry, why you not let me accomplish my desire,

dense lotus leaves

 Jai Sri Ram,

Covered by the dense lotus leaves the water could not be easily discerned,

Even though the attributeless Brahma is not perceived as veiled by Maya,

All the fish that had their abode in the fathomless water of the lake were happy, Even as the virtuous passed their days peacefully,

Weighed down with the load of their fruits all the fruit trees well high touched the ground, even as benevolent souls grow all the more humble on getting a large fortune,

Rama reached the shore of beautiful Lake Pampa

Weapons of greed are desired, and hypocrisy, of lust naught but woman, while anger's weapon is harsh words, so declared by the great sages after deep thought,

Rama is beyond the three Gunas yet the lord of animate and inanimate, the inner controller of all, he demonstrated the miserable plight of earthly lovers and strengthened dispassion in the mind of the wise, anger, lust, greed, pride and delusion, all these eliminated by the grace of Rama, 

Shiva Said to Uma Kalyani I tell you my own realization that the only thing real is the worship of Rama and the whole world is a dream, 

Rama reached the shore of beautiful Lake Pampa, its water was as limped as the heart of saints, and all kinds of beasts drank its water as if there was a crowd of beggars at the house of a generous man,

Said the Rama, how pleasant is the spring, yet to me, bereft of my beloved, is frightful,

Creepers have entwined themselves around gigantic trees, spreading as were a variety of canopies in the sky, 

Laxman, they remain firm even a the sight of Cupid's battle array are men that count in this world, his greatest strength lies in women, he alone who can escape her is a mighty champion, 

Brother, three evils are most formidable of all. lust anger and greed, in an instant they distract the mind of hermits who are the very repository of wisdom,

O men, abandon your varied activities, sins, and diverse creeds, which all give birth to sorrow, and with genuine faith Be devoted to the feet of Rama, says Tulsidas,

The Lord conferred final beatitude even on a woman who was not only an outcast but a very mine of sin, you seek happiness, my most foolish mind, by forgetting such a master,

Rama left even that forest and proceeded further, lord narrated stories to Laxman along the way and marked the beauty of the forest, 

Said the lord, when bucks see me and scamper away in fear, their mates would stop them saying, you have nothing to fear, they come in search of a gold deer,

The prize that is hardly won by the Yogis is within your easy reach today,

If you know anything about Sita, tell me the news, Said the Sabari, Go to the Pumpa lake, make friends with Sugreeva, and will tell you all about it, you know everything yet asking as mortal truth, bowing her head to Ram, relates the whole episode of Matang Muni, casting off her body in the fire of Yoga she merges in the eternity of Lord,

MOST DEAR TO ME,

 Jai Sri Ram,

She brought and offered to Sri Rama the most delicious bulbs, roots, and fruits, the Lord partook of them again and again,

Joined palms she stood before him, as she gazed upon the lord her love waxed yet more ardent, how can I extol you, of women again I am the most dull-headed, O destroyer of sins,

Said the Lord, listen O good lady, to my words, I only recognize no other kinship except that of devotion, despite cast, kinship, lineage, piety, reputation, wealth, physical strength, numerical strength of his family, accomplishments and ability, a man lacking in devotion is of no more worth than cloud without water, 

Now I tell you the nine forms of devotion, please listen attentively and cherish them in mind, FELLOWSHIP OF SAINTS-fondness of my stories-SERVICE ONC" S PRECEPTOR HUMBLE-singing my praise in glueless purpose, MUTTERING MY NAME WITH FAITH, ADORE WHAT REVEALED IN VEDAS, SELF CONTROL, SEE WHOLE WORLD WITHOUT DISTINCTION, RECKON THE SAINTS MORE THAN ME, CULTIVATE CONTENTNESS, BE FAIR WITH DEALINGS, PREVENT SELF FROM DECETING OTHERS, WHOEVER POSSESSES ANYONE OF THEM, BE HE THE MAN OR WOMAN OR ANYONE ELSE SENTIENT NAD INSENTIENT  IS MOST DEAR TO ME,

A Brahman must be respected

Said the Rama, a Brahman, even though he curses you, beats you, and speaks harsh words is still worthy of adoration, so declare by the saints,

A Brahman must be respected, though lacking in amiability, and virtue, Not so a sudra, though possessing a host of virtues and rich in knowledge,

Rama instructed Kabanda in his own cult that cult of devotion, and was delighted at heart to see his devotion to his feet, having regained his original form that of Gandharb, he bowed his head to the feet of the lord and ascended to the heaven,

Having conferred him to his own state thome to her lips, e beneficent Rama repaired to the hermitage of Sabri, as Sabri saw that Rama had called to his abode, she recalled the words of Sage Matatnga. and was glad at heart, fell prostrate, and embraced the feet of Lord and his brother, overwhelmed with love that no words, reverently laved their feet and conducted them to the seat of honor,

Rama overthrew the demon Kabandha

 Jai Sri Ram,

Sri Rama overthrew the demon Kabandha even as the latter met him on the way,

He told him the whole story about the curse pronounced on him, Said-sage Durvasa had imprecated me. The sin has now been wiped out by the sight of the Lord's feet, 

Said the Rama, Listen, O Gandharva, to what I tell you, I cannot tolerate an enemy of the Brahmans, 

He who without guile in thought, word, and deeds service to brahmanas{the very gods of earth}wins over Brahma, Shiva, myself, and all other divinities,

Most tender-hearted is Rama, compassionate to the humble and shows his mercy where there is no occasion for it,

On a vulture who is the most unclean and carnivorous bird, he conferred a state that is solicited even by Yogis, 

Those people are unfortunate indeed, who abandon Sri Hari and become attached to the object of senses,

 Rama and Laxman proceed to the wood further in search of Sita, thinking of the forest even as they go on, thick creepers and trees, inhabited by many birds and beasts, elephants and lions,

 Jai Sri Ram,

The vulture now dropped his body and assumed Sri Hari's own Form, bedecked with many jewels and clad in yellow attire of matchless splendor, possessed of a dark hue and four long arms, with lotus eye, he burst into praises of his Loed,

Glory to Rama, incomparable beauty, absolute and qualified, impeller of Maya, merciful all the way, 

Lord of three spheres and ever at the back of his devotees, attend them with call, ever keep their welfare in heart, may he abide in my heart, whose holy praise put a stop to transmigration, 

Asking for the boon of uninterrupted devotion Jatayu ascended to the abode of lord Vishnu, Rama performed his funeral rites with due ceremony and with his own hands,

IF I AM RAMA

 Jai Sri Ram,

Rama, the ocean of mercy, stroked Jatayu's head  with his hand, as the bird gazed at Rama's countenance, the home of loveliness, all his pain disappeared,

Now Jatayu Recovered and spoke, Rama, it was the ten-headed monster Ravana had reduced me to this plight, the same wretch carried off Sita, took her away to the south while she was kept screaming as an osprey have survived, only to behold you, my life now about to leave, 

Said the Rama, live yet more, Father, Jatayu replied with a smile, he whose very name redeems the most depraved soul even if it appears on the lips at the moment of death, is present before me in a visible form, what more is wanting now, for which I should retain my body any longer, 

Rama with eyes full of tears spoke, dear father, you have attained an enviable state by virtue of your own noble deeds, nothing is unattainable to those who have other's welfare at heart, casting off your body, proceed to my divine abode, what shall I give you, when you have all your desires already accomplished, but on reaching there, sire, tell not my father about Sita's abduction, IF I AM RAMA, RAVANA WITH HIS WHOLE HOUSE WILL GO AND SAY EVERYTHING TO HIM,

Know Sri Rama to be a giver that giver of socio-cultural life embodied in Dharma that righteousness, does everything in a religious manner as if participating in a sacred Yajna for the welfare of all,

His commitment to life was a message for ages to follow that blend of mythology, philosophy, and rituals to amend the truth of destiny for ultimate favor,

Rama said to himself, O Sita, the very mine of virtue, flawless beauty, character, austerity and devotion, 

Laxman consoled Rama in many ways, Rama moving ahead questioning all the creepers, trees, birds, and bees if they have seen Sita,

Rama recalled Sita again and again, and said, Listen, O Sita, in your absence today things have changed altogether, am so hurt, why do you not reveal yourself quickly,

In this way, Lord Searched and lamented like an uxorious husband sore and smitten with pangs of separation, Lord that unborn and immortal, behaved like a mortal, further they see the king of vultures lying with his thought fixed on Rama's feet which bear characteristic marks on their soles,

saw the hermitage bereft of Sita

The wretch tried every kind of threat and endearment but failed miserably, at last, he kept her under an Ashoka tree strongly guarded, 

Having impressed on her heart the beautiful image of Rama as he appeared while running in pursuit of a false deer, Sita incessantly repeated Sri Hari's Name,

Rama saw Laxman coming, and he outwardly expressed concern, You have left Sita alone, even against my instructions, A host of demons are roaming about in the forest, I suspect Sita is not at the hermitage, 

Laxman clasped the feet of Rama and replied it is not my fault, spoke all without words through his wet eyes, Both went back to the hermitage on the bank of Godavari, saw the hermitage bereft of Sita, felt perturbed and afflicted as common man,

Ravana took her away and kept in the Ashok Garden,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Soon Rama turned back, and there Sita heard the cry of distress, seized with fear, and said to Laxman, Go quickly, your brother is in trouble, Said the Laxman, Mother by the very play of Rama's eyebrows the entire creation is annihilated, could he ever dream of being danger,  

Sita urged him with tough words that were hard to bear, he entrusted her to the care of all sylvan gods, then none was there, Ravana reached the hermitage in the garb of a hermit, trying to deceive Sita through his delusion, soon he realized the line of safety as marked to safeguard Sita, could be cross by Sita alone in the universe, 

Pray to Sita to cross and offer him food, As soon Sita crosses the line Ravana manifests in his original form, Sita is terrified to see him and know his name, though acts as a lioness yet hard to be back in a hermitage that is safe to resort through celestial cult,

Ravana in rage now seated her in his aerial car through his occult power, and drove through the air as a frightened thief, recalling for help from all around, loud wailing all living creatures, felt distressed then manifest the Jatayu and tried his best to rescue her but failed a last and fell down, Ravana took once more Sita to his car and drove off in hast, perceiving some monkies midway perched on the hill she dropped some cloth and jewel as marks for Rama to reach, Ravana took her away and kept in the Ashok Garden,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Then Sita said to Rama, listen, my gracious Lord, this dear is most charming, pray to get me, true as you are to your words, Rama, even though knew all the circumstances that led Marica to assume the semblance of deer, arose with joy to accomplish the object of gods, casting a look at the deer he girded up his loin with a peace of cloth and taking his bowin hand fitted a spinning arrow, Rama cautioned Laxman that a host of demons roam about in the wood, take care of Sita with due regard to your strength and circumstances making use of your intellect and discretion, The der took flight at the sight of the Lord and Rama Ran after it pulling his bowstring, how strange that Shiva was unable to catch in meditation, that ran in pursuit of a false deer, 

At the very next moment, it ran to some distance, at a moment came to a view and next disappeared, went out of sight time and again, playing every king of vile,  taking Rama far from his hermitage, then Rama flew the fatal shaft which makes him fell down, fearful cried Laxman first with loud the Rama at Low pitch and reveal his real self, Rama visualize the love of his heart for him and sent him to his abode,

Said Marica, in your own welfare and the welfare of your race you had better return home, as he heard this flared up and abused Marica, threatened Marica, then Marica thought to hirself, if I argue further the wretch will kill me if associate him Rama will kill me, then should I killed by Rama, that would be better preposition, pondering this in mind accompanied Ravana and felt delighted with thought to have glimpse of his lord at his last,

He assured himself that my eyes would be rewarded when I beheld the most beautiful Rama, recalled the truth of Vishnu whose very wrath even confers beatitude, 

As He runs after me on foot, carrying his bow and arrow, I shall again and again turn to get a sight of my lord, no one is as blessed as I am, 

Ravana with Marica drew near the forest where Sri Rama had taken up his abode, Marica assumed the false appearance of a deer, so wonderful as to defy description, a body of gold artistically inlaid with jewels, Sita saw that deer exclusively exquisitely beautiful creature, most lovely in every limb, Sita Wanted to behold that deer but hard to catch by,

Ravana bowed his head to Marica

 Jai Sri Ram,

There Ravana bowed his head to Marica, selfish and vile he was, the meekness of a meek creature is a source of great trouble, The bow, snake or cat, the friendly speech of a villain is as dangerous as the flowers that blossom out of season, 

After doing homage Marica respectfully enquired the reason for vising him with a disturbed state of mind, Ravana proudly repeated the whole story and said, you assume the false appearance of a wily deer, so that I may abduct the Sita, 

Marica tries to relate the might of Rama, who by nature is lord of three worlds, once while he reached to safeguard the Yajna of Vishvamitra threw a pointless shaft which threw me 800 miles in a fraction of a second, will not be good to antagonize with him, I my self reduced to the position of an insect caught in the nest of Branga, a wasp-like winged creature, Dear son, they possesses infinite might and opposing them will not be avail, 

But Can he possibly be a man, who has recklessly killed Tadaka, and Subahu, broke Shiva's bow, and slew Khar, Dushan, and Trisira,

abide in the fire until I have completed the destruction of the demons,

 Jai Sri Ram,

Having consoled Suparankha he boasted of his strength in many ways, but retired to his palace full of great anxiety, and could not sleep the whole night,

Among gods, human beings, demons, Nagas, and birds, he thought, there is none who can withstand my servants, as for Khar and Dushna, they were as powerful as myself, who else could have killed them, 

Had it not been the Lord himself, if therefore the lord himself, the delighter of the gods and the reliever of earth's burden, has appeared on the earth, I will go and resolutely fight with him and cross the ocean of mundane existence, adoration is out of the question in the demoniac body, which is made up of ignorance, such is my resolve in thought word and deed,

And if they happen to be some mortal prince I shall conquer them both in battle and carry off the bride, having thus made up his mind, mounted his chariot and drove off alone to the spot where Marica was living by the sea shore When Laxman gone to the woods to gather roots, fruits, and bulbs, Rama Spoke to sita, Listen with care, I am going to act a lovely human part, abide in the fire until I have completed the destruction of the demons, so sooner Sri Rama told her everything in detail then Sita impressed Image of the lord's feet on her heart and entered into the fire, leaving him only of a shadow of hers, Laxman did not know the secret what rama done behind the curtain,

Ravana burned all over with rage when he heard

In her distress Suparankha threw herself down in the court of Ravana with many tears, Do you think that my ten-headed brother, that I should be reduced to this state even though you are alive,

Said King Ravana, tell me what has happened, who has struck off your nose and ears, two sons of Dasaratha, lord of Ayodhy, lions among men, are out hunting in the woods without fear, 

I have formed of their doings I that will rid the earth of demons, relying on the might of their arms, the hermits roam without fear, though young but terrible, are a source of delight to sages, Known in the name of Rama and Laxman, the embodiment of beauty, Laxman has done this to me,

I approached immediately Khar and Dushan, and they came to avenge but Rama slew the whole army in a trice, Ravana burned all over with rage when he heard of the destruction of Khara Dushan, and Trishara,

wisdom by deceit

 Jai Sri Ram,

Supankha applauded Ravana and instigated him against Rama, in great fury she rated him in the following words, discarding all thought of your realms, and exchequer you drink and sleep without political insight,

 WEALTH DIVORCED FROM VIRTUE, NOBLE DEEDS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED TO GOD, AND LEARNING WHICH DOES NOT BEGET WISDOM IS NOTHING BUT FRUITLESS LABOUR TO THE MAN WHO HAS GAINED SUCH WISDOM OF WEALTH, TO THE DOER OF THE NOBLE ACTS, AND TO THE STUDENT RESPECTIVELY, 

A recluse is quickly undone by attachments, a King by the evil council, wisdom by deceit, modesty by drinking, friendship by want of love, and man of merit by vanity, such is the maxim I have heard, 

An Enemy, a malady, fire, sin, a master and a serpent are never to be accounted trifle, so saying with profuse laments she set to weeping,

Khar Dushan and Trisara

 Jai Sri Ram,

Rama sent back the messenger of Khar Dushna with a message that we are Kshatriya by birth and are given to hunt in the woods, wretches like you are game we are tracking, we are never dismayed at the sight of a mighty foe, and would give battle to death even if ever appeared before us, though human beings, we are the exterminators of the race of demons, though youthful in appearance, we are the protector of the hermits  and the torment of the wicked,

If you have no strength to fight, you have better return home, I never killed an enemy who has turned his back upon the field of battle, The heart of Khara and Dushna burnt with fire, exclaimed, capture him, all rushed at once, 

Having learned that they were confronting a powerful enemy, Rama sped forth terrible arrows that manifested death, three brothers Khar Dushan and Trisara jointly attempted to confront Rama in battle, Rama created an illusion and in the illusion army started fighting themselves considering each other as Rama, and vanished themselves, Rama then sent three brothers to the resort of their destiny,

Lord Rama vanquished the foe in battle, thereby Laxman bringing Sita, she fell at the feet of Rama, Having seen the end of Khar Dushan and Trisira Suarnjha immediately rushed to Ravana,

Khar and Dushan

 Jai Sri Ram,

Laxman was greatly delighted to hear the discourse and bowed his head at the feet of Rama, there had been a sister of Ravana that embodiment of delusion,, once visited the Panchvati and was smitten by the pangs of love at the sight of Rama, addressed in soft and submissive tone to marry Rama but Rama denied and sent her to Laxmana, 

She repeats the same to Laxman, Ramasilently points out to Laxman what to with her,Laxman denied her blatantly, she went fretting and foaming Rama with her frightful demoniac form, Rama made a sign to Laxman, and Laxman thereupon struck off her nose and ears, inviting Ravana through her to a contest as it were,

Immediately she went to her brothers Khar and Dushan, the truth of might and velour, and related an indifferent story to provoke them to fight Rama and kill him, Both immediately rushed to the site where Rama was, Rama sent Sita to a hideout with Laxman and instructed him to safeguard her, 

Rama saw the hostile fore had advanced, as the Khar and Dushan saw Rama amused in themselves by the beauty of Rama, said we have not found such grace in both words and do not want to kill you, just hand the Sita to us go back to your native place and live a long life,

cultivate devotion to the feet of Brahman

Rama said I will explain everything in a nutshell, be attentive, with your mind, intellect, and reason fully absorbed, I and Mine and You and Yours Is Maya, and that lies within reach of the mind, know that to be Maya, Hear the division too, they are two that knowledge and ignorance, Ignorance is vile knowledge which brings forth creation hold all the three Gunas is directed by Lord and has no strength of his own, spiritual wisdom is that free from all blemishes which see the supreme reality equally in all, 

He alone is the man of wisdom who has spurned all supernatural powers as well and the three Gunas relate to Sat, Raj, and Tam, of which the universe composed, as of no more account than a blade of Grass, That alone deserves to be called as Jiva that individual soul which knows not Maya, nor god nor once own self, and God is that who awards bondage and liberation according to the deserts, transcends all is the controller of Maya,

Dispassion results from the practice of virtue, while wisdom comes from the practice of yoga that concentration of mind, wisdom is the bestower of liberation, as declared by the Vedas, by which my heart melts quickly, that is devotion, the delight of my devotees, it stands by itself without any other prop, whereas Jnana is absolute formless and Vijnana is a qualified aspect, but devotion is incompatible and the very root of bliss, it can be acquired in communion with a holy saint, 

I proceed to tell you that men who cultivate devotion to the feet of Brahman and engage in duty disinterestedly, reach the truth of aversion to the pleasure of senses and find self in truth with dispassion in the engender of love for my cult, bring in 9 forms of devotion which leads to fondness for my sports and faith for the feet of holy saints, reach a stage to recognize me as his preceptor, father, mother and kinsman, lord and deity and all should be steadfast in my service, a thrill ram to his body while singing my praise, voice chocked with wet eyes, free from lust and vice and hypocrisy, AM EVER AT BCK and call such a DEVOTEE, I ever repose in the heart of those who depends on me in thought, word and deed and who worship me in  disinterested way,

From the time Rama took up abode there, the sages lived happily and were rid of all fear, wood grew more lovely in the presence of Rama, and once upon a time Rama was sitting at ease Laxman addressed him in guileless words, Instruct me, my lord, 

How I may be able to adore the dust of your lotus feet to the exclusion of everything else, discoursed to me on spiritual wisdom and dispassion, and about your Maya and also about the Bhakti which create an occasion for showing your grace,

Explain to me the difference between god and the individual soul, so that I may be devoted to your lotus feet to get rid of my sorrow, infatuation, and delusion may disappear,

Rama reached the hermitage of Sage August, August started up as soon as he heard this, and Ran, at the sight of Lord tears rushed to his eyes, Rama and Laxman fell at the feet of Sage, Sage took them and clasped to his bosom, 

Sage conducted them to the exalted seat and then offered worship in various ways, Sage said that there is no other man as blessed as I am, and other sages beheld the beauty of Rama and were delighted to have a fair glimpse, 

He sat in the midst of the assembly, his face turned towards all, Rama said to the sage, I have nothing to hide, you know all for Why I have come, please tell me the way and advise me how to eradicate the enemy of sages, 

Said the sage with a smile, with what intention have you asked me this question, it is by virtue of devotion to you, that I know a bit of your glory, your Maya is infinite in nature, is your creative energy like a huge tree of species, with countless multitudes of universes for its clustering fruits, animate and inanimate inhabitting in various universes, are like insects that dwell inside the deadliest time spirit devour these fruits, 

You who are suzerain lord of all, I ask you a boon O hime of mercy, pray dwell in my heart with your spouse and younger brother, let me have intense devotion, dispassion, fellowship of saints, and unbroken love for your lotus feet, you have always exalted your servants, this is why you have thought fit to consult me, Rama PANCHVATI IS MOST CHARMING  HOLY SPOT, SANCTIFY THE DANDAK VAN AND REDEEM IT FROM THE VURSE OF SAGE SUKRACHARYA tAKE UP YOUR ABODE THERE, SHOW YOUR GRACE ON ALL SAGES, RAMA DEPARTED AND DREW NEAR TO PANCHVATI IN NO TIME,

Sage August had a learned disciple Sutikshan by name, a great lover of Rama who had no faith in any other deity but Rama, As soon the news reached him that the Lord is coming, reached the midway to receive his master, 

Pitched his hope on the all-merciful Rama then the truth of his Bhakti, awaits in truth with concentration and meditation, enlightening the lamp of hope with eyes on Rama eternally, he has been gifted by nature the truth of immense love he wishes to offer to the lotus feet of Rama, 

Rama Reached but he was still in the ecstasy of his divine cult to reach Rama, Rama was delighted to see him the way this, and tried many ways to arouse him but, then withdrew himself from the mind of Sutikshan, He arose with deep restlessness, and find Rama in front of him, Sutikshan overwhelmed with affection summoned the courage to clasped the feet of Rama, Rama blessed him, he took Rama to his hermitage,

Sage offers eternal prayer in words to charm self in love with Rama, praise the lord more than once to oblige self, And retreat self to be in the quest to be a servant of Rama, and requests to vouchsafe him and award him a live glimpse of the trio to frame in his heart then requested Rama to accompany him to oblige his Guru August,

So saying Sage burnt his body with the fire of yoga, and by the grace of Rama rose to Vaikuntha, 

The sage was not absorbed in the person of Sri Rama because he had already received the boon of personal devotion,

Then Rama went further and found the heaps of bones of the dead, enquired about the same from fellow hermit,

Though know everything, how is it that you are asking, we know you are all seeing and can read the innermost feelings of all, HOST OF DEMONS HAVE DEVOURED ALL THE SAGES, the eyes of Rama filled with tears to hear it, With uplifted arms, he took a vow to rid the earth of demons, then gladdened all the hermits by visiting their hermitage one by one,

Sage Sarbhanga

 Jai Sri Ram,

Rama along with Sita and Laxman then visited the sage Sarbhanga, Gazing at Rama's lotus face, the sage reverently drank in the beauty like bees, blessed indeed was his birth, 

Said the sage, Listen, O gracious Rama, I was about to leave for Brahma abode, it reached my ears that Rama is coming to the forest, and since then watching the road day and night, now my heart is soothed at the sight of my lord,

I have accomplished nothing to deserve your grace, yet you have shown your grace on me, you have done me no favor, you have only redeemed your vow, steeler of your devotee's heart, for the sake of this humble servant remain here before my eyes till I have quitted this body and met you, in your abode, 

So saying the sage offered whatever sacrifices, austere penance he had done and received in return the boon of devotion, having acquired the rare gift of devotion the sage prepared a funeral pile and discarding all attachments from heart ascended it, constantly aide in my heart, Rama, along with Sita and Laxman, in your qualified and enbodied form swarthy as a dark cloud, O gracious Rama,

Even as the trio wended their way the demon Viradha met them, Rama overthrew him as soon as he made an appearance, he attained beauteous divine form, and finding him lead a miserable existence, Rama sent him to his abode,

The praise of Rama destroys the impurities of the Kali age, subdues the mind, and is a source of delight, Rama remains propitious to those who listen to them with reverence,

This terrible Kali age is a repository of sins, piety, and spiritual wisdom, yoga or Japa are out of place in Kali age, 

They alone are wise, and worship Sri Rama giving up all other hope,

She imparts teachings to Sita unto the truth of faithful wife, and relates four kinds of such wives, 

Woman is impure by nature technically in truth with their birth for many reasons but they can attain superiority by serving their spouse through their chaste and loyalty, 

Listen Sita, said the sage wife, Women will maintain their vow of fidelity to their husband by invoking your very name, Sita was overjoyed to hear discourse and reverently bowed to Sati Anusuiya,. Sage applauded the praise of Rama and proclaimed Now I understand the wisdom of Goddess Laxmi who chose you as her lord, You may go Now, my lord, thus sage gazing on the lord, thrilling all over with emotion and his eyes flowing with tears,

Taking leave of all hermits, the trio left that place, Lord visited the hermitage of Sage Atri, and Sage rejoiced to welcome Rama, a thrill ran to his body, and Rama and Laxman prostrated at the feet of Sage,

Eyes of sage immersed in the wetness of love divine, sage lifted them both and reverently escorted them to his hermitage, Paying homage to the Lord he spoke in words embodiment of kindness, and offered fruits, bulbs, and roots,

As the Lord took his seat, sage feated his eyes on his loveliness and with joined palms proceeded to extol him,

Once Rama culled lovely flowers and made with his hands a number of ornaments, fondly decked Sta and set with on beautiful rock, the foolish son of Indra named Jayanta wanted to test the might of Rama, dull-witted fool disguised himself as a crow, bit sita in the foot with its bleak and flew away, Rama came to know only when it bleeds, just at once Rama took a straw from the ground and made it Brahma astra in the form of shaft with Sankalp to kill Deciteful crow that Jayant, 

Extremely compassionate is Rama that always fond of the meek but mischievous comes and plays a trick to reach the truth about Rama, Jayant returns to his garb by discarding the crow format approaches his father for help, but he refuses all, he approaches all nearby, all take a side, then lastly reach Brahma, he too refused him for any help in a matter of his delusion, no one even asks him to sit down, those in animosity with Rama father becomes Yuma to him and Ganga becomes Vaitarini, the moon becomes hotter than the sun, Midway of his suffering he met with Sage Narada, saw him in distressed, tender-hearted saint sent him back to Rama to safeguard his interest at its best, 

He approached Rama fell prostrate on his feet, repeated again and again for help, and said I could not perceive your incomparable might and matchless glory, Protect me, my Lord, I have reaped a lot born of my own action, Merciful Rama heard his most pileous appeal, let him go with the loss of one eye, Jayanta had antagonized Rama, therefore deserve death but Rama took compassion on him and let him go with mild punishment as a token to keep in memory,

I revered lord Shiva, the progeny of Brahma, the root of the tree of piety, a devotee of Rama, the full moon to the ocean of wisdom, the Sun that opens the lotus of dispassion, the wind that disperses the cloud of ignorance, who dispels the thick darkness of sin and eradicates the three-fold agonies,

I worship Rama, the delighter of all, whose graceful form is an embodiment of joy, is dark as a rainy cloud, who is clad in the charming yellow bark and carries in his hands a bow, an arrow that has a beautiful, shining and well-equipped quiver fastened to his waist and has a pair of lard lotus eyes, who is adorned with a tuft of matted locks on his head and who is seen journeying with Sita and Laxman, 

Sri Rama's virtues are mysterious, the sages as well as leaned men develop dispassion when they appreciate them,

While the deluded fools who are hostile to Sri Hari and have no love for piety get bewildered to hear of them,

Admonish me, O gracious Rama, tell me some means to cross the period of your exile, Bharata praise the virtuous glory of Rama appreciated by all,

The all-wise Rama when heard the meek speech in guileless ascend of his brother, replied, Bharata it is the guru and the king Janaka who has taken thought of you, discard all anxiety go and rule Ayodhya till the appointed period, be in the essence of king duty to serve the kingdom on the notes of Guru, Bharata's mind was not clear about moving without tangible support from Rama in the form of his sandal, , Rama Read the truth of Bharata and blessed him with the object of his eternal desire, 

Bharat made obeisance and begged to leave to depart and Rama clasped him to his bosom, Bharata embraced Laxman while Shatrughan bowed to him, They put on their forehead the dust from the lotus feet of Sita and departed, Rama bowed his head to King Janaka, meet all her mother, Sita bowed to Arundhati as well to her mother inlaws, all takes their routs after keeping Rama in their thoughts and heart, all people practiced austerities and fasted in order to be able to see Rama again, there Laxman sat under the banyan tree and grieved over the separation, condition of Rama was no better than Laxman on the occasion but with a false smile of face, 

There is Bharata with all parties crossing the Yamuna, the day passed without food, and the Next Halt made on the bank of Ganga Shrigverpur, they bathed in Gomati and reached Ayodhya, King Janka stayed there for four days,  Bharata prayed Brahmanas and gods before taking his place in a hermitage at the outskirt of Ayohya to serve disinterestedly, Installed the wooden sandal of Rama on the throne and start his job in cult with service, daily worshipping the Rama's sanda with overflowing affection and constantly referred to them in the disposal of the affairs of the state, his tongue repeated Rama's name, the most sanctifying story of Bharata's doing is not only delightful and charming, but drives away the terrible sins and affliction of the Kali age, those who reverently hear and sing this chapter attain to the devotion to the feet of Sita and Rama and a distaste for the pleasure of life,

On receiving Atri's command Bharata dispatched all vessels containing the holy water and repaired them with Brother Shatrughan, depositing holy water in that sacred well, Sage lovingly said this place and this act brought success to the striver from time as obscured by time it was known to none, my servants marked this soil as rich in subterranean spring of water, 

By the decree of providence, the whole world has benefited, now onwards This well of nectar be known in your name that Bharata Koop, its;s sanctity has been enhanced since you made oblation in respect to, 

The night was pleasantly spent narrating sacred legends with love, feeling inwardly uncomfortable at the thought of Bharata's bare feet along with his brother, earth smoothened the path to walk upon Bharata, 

Bharata roamed in the forest, and hermits felt abashed to see the devotion of Bharata, those in the proximity of Bharata turned divine was a mystic reality, Bharat Visited all the sacred spots in FIVE DAY, In the morning after daily ablations whole assembly met again, Tendered hearted Rama hesitate to say, Bharata said, for my sake, everybody has suffered a lot, Now my Lord, GIVE ME YOUR PERMISSION TO LEAVE SO THAT I MAY GO BACK TO AYODHYA and REMAIN THERE TILL YOUR RETURN,

I have great longing at heart but due to fear and difference, am unable to mention, Tell me, dear brother, what is it, thus receiving the lord's permission, Bharata replied, with your permission I would go and see Chitrakoot with its sacred spots, holy places and woods, birds and beasts, lakes and streams, springs and hills, 

Said the Rama, certainly, do as the sage Atri bids you do, dear brother, and wander without fear through woods, it is the sage's blessing, that makes the forest so suspicious, holy, and exquisitely beautiful,

Bharata rejoiced and cheerfully went and bowed his head at the lotus feet of sage, Sage said to Bharata, there is a beautiful well adjoining the hill, the water from the sacred places, which is so holy, sweet as nectar and incomparable, may be deposited in it,

You are conversant, dear brother, with the traditions of the solar race and know how truthful and how fond of fame our father was, 

You are also aware of the gravity of the occasion, the circumstances in which we are placed, and the consideration we should have feelings for our elders, you are aware of everyone's duty as well as what is best for you and me, and what should I do, have entire confidence in you, yet I say something appropriate to the occasion, have been conserved by  preceptors family, tell me who is not subjected to hardship, 

Obey the command yourself and also help me do the same, and be the savior of the solar Race, even though enduring great hardship makes your subject and your own people happy, my vow has been shared by all,  but your lot would be hardest for the whole of exile, I know you are tender-hearted yet speaking refulgent words to you, but times are so out of joint that this will not unjustifiable of my part, in hard time good brothers stand one in good stead,

Hearing the words of Rama, the whole assembly was lost in the trance of affection, with loving obeisance Bharata said, have driven the joy of heaving accompanied you, obtained the reward of being born into this world, NOW MY GRACIOUS LORD, whatever be your command I will bow to it, carry it out with reverence, Pray vouchsafe to me some tangible support by serving which I may enable to reach the end of the term of your exile,

Physical oblations have their own merits to enjoin the beauty of the day but eternal submission may help devotees like anything,

Not rocket science to reach, as simple as it could be, withdraw the consciousness to reach a higher state of consciousness within the self, it will drive to the heart itself, will able to act upon there with Manasa Gati, decorate it with lotus petals, and invoke the self again to visualize Goddess Radha, supreme personality manifest in the form of Radha that to bless the individual self for ultimate welfare being in truth with merit of the day,

And enjoy the truth of celebration apart from the worldly crowds and physical exertions, eternal parikrama may have its own merit, pitch self midst of eternal celebration to have a personal interface with divine reality Radha at Manas Plane,

Let your servant obtain this favor, so saying he utterly overwhelmed with emotion, thrill ran to his body, tears rushed to his eyes,

The ocean of compassion honored him, by his hand seated beside him, Rama himself was overpowered by emotion over Bharata entities, and all in assembly fainted in love, Indra wanted to play his deceitful game but in the shadow of fear ceased to itself,

Therefore, knowing myself to be dependent, with due deference to Rama's wishes and consistent with his duty and sacred vow, pay do that which all approve and is good for all, recognizing the affection everyone bears for him, 

Janka applauded Bharata's words, and Sage Vashista and the whole assembly called on Sri Rama, gods invoked Sharda once more for their delusive motive to change the mind of Bharata now, but what be a mool light steel from the sun, deceitful plan conceived by selfish gods tattered to itself, 

Said the sage, whatever order you give all should obey, Rama with joined Palm said, whatever order may be given by you and by the king of Mithilesh, everyone, I swear by yourself, will positively bow to it,

On hearing Rama's oath, all were embarrassed, When Bharata saw the Assembly confused exercised self-restraint and controlled his emotions, prayed to Rama in truth of wisdom, You are my father, friend, preceptor, master, and object of my adoration, and greatest benefactor, controller of my inner self, guileless and kind patrons, befriender of those who take refuge in you, through grief, affection or mere childishness I came here in defiance of your command, have seen your most blessed feet and come to know my master naturally propitious to me, too much of speaking even as it pleased me but perceiving great distress I am sure my master will pardon me,

Rama, you are the life of life, the soul of soul, and the joy of joy, those who like to be their home away from you, are under the influence of the adverse fate,

Rama, whosoever is unhappy is unhappy without you, whosoever is happy is because of you, your gracious self knows all, the sage overpowered by extra emotions asked Rama to move his hermitage,

Rama made respective obeisance and turned back to his hermitage, Aage praised the wisdom of Janaka in many ways, and Janaka overwhelmed with emotion king shrunk away from him, took proceeds to his community there, 

In the next gathering Bharata said, am prudent to say something, pray to forgive me, knowing providence against me, and all the world knows, the duty of a servant is hard is incomparable and selfishness, hatred is blind, and love is not discreet,

Lord Ganesha is the most ancient truth whichever exists along with devotees to help them in their daily routine and truth to meet the cause both ways,

Men live midst of falsehood is the truth of ages, falsehood pains the soul deep till the truth of eternity, Ganesha is the lone hope to recover from this delusive chapter of life,  false implication is a common phenomenon and hard to prove self in tough truth of life but for those in refuge of Ganesha,

What about men, gods do suffer from the delusion of falsehood in varying chapters concerned with the story of Sri Krishna falsely implicated with a gross false allegation and he suffers beyond bounds though he was a mystic Yogi, Tales of Swayamantak Mani relates it in depth, Sage Narada manifest to help Krishna to recover from this delusion simply by adoring Ganesha on the day with faith and all submission,

There when King Janaka heard the noble conduct of Bharata, that combination of golf with fragrance, alike nectar extracted from the Moon, tears rushed to his eyes, 

Possessed infinite virtues,  and was a man above comparison, Bharata would never think of flouting Rama's orders even unwillingly,

At daybreak, Both royal camps awoke and finishing their ablutions proceeded to worship God, thus after performing respective oblations Called on Rama and the Guru, 

Said the Rama, holy sir, citizens, and my mothers are stricken with grief being in wood for long, my lord do what is advisable, as amenities of life are like hell,

People enjoy the proximity of Rama as if better than the heaven city of Amravati, the privilege of living by this is not just a good fortune but much more than this though being in exile,

Thrice bath in Mandakini and the glimpse of Sri Rama was gratifying to the soul at its most, The hermitage of ascetics nearby was a mystic charm for the spirit, yet a cavity in the heart about unforeseen,

Kaushalya collected herself and addressed in mild ascents to the queen of Mithila, affection was flowing in the heart of queens about the truth of the event and their hidden desire to take back Rama to Ayodhya,

holy repast

  Jai Sri Ram,

Plunged in the ocean of grief people lamented in great anguish, great sages admonished people in numberless ways, 

At the daybreak both Janaka and Rama bathed with all their retinue, and sat under the banyan tree, sad at heart and wasted in body,

Brahman came from both sides and priest Sadanand from the Janaka side tried to explore the ways to pacify the subject concerned most, 

By the Grace of Rama, the hill yielded the objects of one's desire and dispelled sorrows by their very sight, King Janaka gazed with love on many noble trees, having worshiped the manes, the gods, the visitors, and the Guru they  began to partake of the holy repast,
